As a reward for killing Ill Omen, the description of the Law Remnants explicitly stated that they had been forged from the patterns of a law.
And Glorious Tyrant, as one form of the Law Remnants, proved that they could indeed oppose the Stars Law to some extent.
So Fu Qian had been thinking about the relationship between the two almost from the very beginning.
Now, with the Witch's assessment, the possibility that it was all just a coincidence seemed increasingly slim.
Given that, since he couldn't find a lead here, it couldn't hurt to have more points of reference.

At Fu Qian's explanation, the Witch thought it over and gave a slight shake of her head, indicating she hadn't seen anything like it.

The Witch gently supported Fu Qian's head, helping ease the strain caused by his recent overexertion. As she listened, she seemed thoughtful.
"I feel the same way. It's nowhere near as perfect, but it does seem more alive."
Fu Qian nodded vigorously.
"Of course, that was quite a while ago. We'll have to see it for ourselves to know what it's like now."
