Blind Eye Academy?
If I remembered correctly, this pattern bore a striking resemblance to the design on the Golden Shield carried by that fellow known by the codename Round Card.
As someone who had even worn it for a brief time, Fu Qian was fairly confident about that.
The Academy's legacy?
The problem was, compared to that underground ruin, this building was considerably newer.
The work of the Academy's successors?
That seemed much more likely.
As the expedition team from before had shown, the Sage, who had inherited part of the Academy's legacy, had probably established a secret organization through Ess and the others to restore its former glory.
Those few also seemed to come from wealthy families. It wouldn't be too strange for the Blind Eye Academy's true successors to have left traces in a few places.
So here was the question: could this be a recruitment event for the Blind Eye Academy?
Rubbing the key in his hand, Fu Qian kept walking deeper into the building, continuing to decipher the various patterns hidden in a special way.
He had already checked the time on his way here, and could be fairly certain this was after that expedition.
And when the Holy Grail had finally been successfully contained in the Bell Tower Hall of the underground ruin, the Sage had probably had both his hands cut off by the Pure White Angel. He might have survived, but his situation had certainly been grim.
Besides, the three of them—Ess and the others—had been waiting outside. They hadn't come in.
It was hard to say what had become of the rest of the team.
Whether they had anything to do with the key he'd received, or the workshop mentioned in the note, was also difficult to determine at present.
