It was still in proportion to the church; the courtyard was just as small.
Even the courtyard wall was plain in style, made almost entirely of stones shaped like tablets, wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, with gaps between them large enough for a person to squeeze through.
Fu Qian had no intention of exploring the courtyard. He walked all the way to the end of the path and looked around.
The wall, which was not even as tall as a person, connected to a black iron gate. It didn't appear to be locked, merely left ajar.
