Could the Stars Law no longer bind the Witch?
I had to admit, this was yet another shocking revelation.
Earlier, I'd even considered the possibility that the scroll was a trap, and might somehow restrict the Witch.
But now it seemed it had specifically helped remove those restrictions?
That alone made this trip worthwhile.
The false starry sky that had reappeared alongside Ancient Lairding had collapsed long ago, but for a Higher Being like the Witch, it had undoubtedly been a major hidden danger.
Its effects were simply too outrageous. It had left a Higher Being completely unable to fight back.
And not only could she not identify the core reason behind it, she couldn't even grasp what drove the "Law Core" to jump back and forth between the two worlds. There was no way to counter it.
So no matter how unlikely it was, in theory, this was the Fated Death that could emerge at any moment.
Earlier, with my perception restricted, I could only communicate one way. I'd still chosen to discuss the project's progress in this area first, hoping the Witch might find it useful.
And yet simply touching the scroll before her had eliminated the danger entirely?
The Witch's tone was still completely certain. She would never be careless about something like this.
I could only say that this alone made the Witch's trip worthwhile.
And that was far from all. This highly targeted effect practically confirmed that the Stars Law's special suppression of the Witch had come from her "mother."
The First Generation Dark Moon didn't seem to have passively served as the Stars Law's power source. She had actively taken part in it.
