The dean was an old hand, after all. He knew that when people met, they should first acknowledge the other's efforts.
In response to the remark that was clearly directed at him, Fu Qian casually replied, then gestured toward the tea in front of him.
"Care to try Lisha's handiwork?"
Not wanting to take credit for his guest's efforts, Fu Qian invited Cas to sit and made a point of saying that Professor Lisha had brewed the tea.
"That's a rare treat. I'll have to give it a proper taste."
Cas laughed, looking to be in a much better mood than the weather. He stepped inside and took a seat.

Only then did Lisha come out of her daze and let out the rest of her exclamation.
Had it really been just as someone said? All she had to do was wait here?
As the last person to pay Cas a visit, she was clearly surprised by his appearance. Staring at that strikingly bony face, she couldn't figure out how to greet him.
Cas merely gazed back at her in silence, seemingly waiting for something.

The awkward standoff lasted about two seconds before Fu Qian finally broke the silence with a dry cough. He nudged the cup forward a little, hinting at what she should do.
