At that moment, he had the title of Fire Demon but none of the strength to back it up. Without the Eternal Fire, his power had already fallen below the level of a Quasi God King.

"What kind of fire is that? It can even burn through alloy!"

Arishem realized that the alloy on his body was burning.

It wasn't melting into lava. It was literally burning away.

It had turned to ash.

He had never seen flames this hot.

"I can't put it out!"

Arishem realized that even cosmic energy couldn't extinguish Huang Yun's flames.

With a grim resolve, he severed his right arm.

Then he regenerated it.

Without cosmic energy to protect it, the severed arm turned to ash in just a few seconds.

The sight left every being in the universe watching speechless.

What kind of temperature was this?

That was a Heavenly God Group member's arm.

And not just any member's—Arishem the Judge's.

Setting aside the armor on his body, his physical form was among the strongest in the universe.

Yet Huang Yun's flames had taken only seconds to burn through it.

"Heavenly Dao Fire, burn all things to ash."

"This is the ultimate form of fire!"

"Time, space, energy, matter, emotions, souls—if I wish it, anything can serve as fuel for my flames..."

Huang Yun's voice rang through the entire universe, carried by the Explosive Flame Dragon Emperor.

"How can a fire like that exist?!"

Mephisto couldn't help exclaiming.

But the flames Huang Yun had displayed truly possessed that kind of power.

"The fire-aligned beings have seen the end of the road..."

Odin, too, marveled at the flames' power.

This was truly a fire that could burn anything.

Once something caught fire, all it could do was burn until he was done with it.

Where Arishem's arm had been severed,

space crackled as it burned.

The space in this part of the universe was being consumed as fuel, making Huang Yun's flames burn with searing heat.

As a powerhouse on the level of a Single Universe, Arishem naturally noticed that something was wrong with the surrounding space.

"It really burned away time..."

Chapter 16: The Power Gem

"There really is a fire that can destroy time and space."

Arishem stared at the spot where the flames burned, shaken to his core.

That region seemed to have become the end of everything.

Time and space stopped there, turning into nothingness.

"Arishem, you're too weak..."

Arishem could hardly believe his ears.

Someone had actually called him weak?

In all his countless ages, this had never happened before.

"How dare you!"

Arishem had just begun to speak

when Huang Yun flashed forward and punched him in the face.

Countless beings throughout the universe witnessed the scene.

Arishem's enormous head snapped sharply to one side.

Then his entire body flew backward.

"So fast!"

Not only Arishem, but the other beings hadn't seen how Huang Yun had moved, either.

It was as if he had suddenly crossed through space and appeared right in front of Arishem.

Then came a tremendous collision, and Arishem went flying.

"Yikes—that looks painful!"

The sudden twist of Arishem's head made everyone tense up.

By this point, the power Huang Yun had displayed had surpassed everyone's imagination.

And he was doing this outside his own dimension.

That meant that in his own dimension, Huang Yun, this Dimensional Demon God, was at least on the level of a Multiverse!

"He's unbelievably strong! He's a newly born Dimensional Demon God, and no one had ever even heard of him before. How could he be this powerful?"

One being was baffled.

Among the Dimensional Demon Gods still around, many had already been powerful before becoming Dimensional Demon Gods.

Nether God Chthon, Serpent God Set, and Lord of Hell Mephisto, for example.

They had all existed since the universe's beginning as Ancient Gods.

Huang Yun, on the other hand, had appeared out of nowhere.

"No one is born standing above the heavens. The gods of the universe are no exception, and neither are you, the Heavenly God Group!"

Huang Yun struck again.

Arishem's body folded in half.

A streak of flaming light circled around Arishem's body.

The other beings could only watch as Arishem's body was forced into one position after another.

"I never thought I'd see this."

"Arishem, the Heavenly God Group's Judge, is being beaten like this within a Single Universe."

"He's getting slaughtered."

"The Heavenly God Group has lost all face."

Many powerful beings watched gleefully.

The Heavenly God Group was too domineering.

And many beings couldn't accept the way the group came into existence, either.

Some beings whose home planets had been destroyed watched Arishem being mercilessly beaten, smiles of vengeance on their faces.

Their home planets had been technologically advanced and densely populated.

But no one would have guessed that, in the universe, a planet with a large population could be a curse.

The birth of a Heavenly God Group member required the absorption of the soul energy of countless beings.

Every new member meant that at least tens of billions of lives had perished.

This was a law of cosmic balance.

A law made by the Heavenly God Group themselves!

Many beings in the universe resented this method of creation, but they were powerless to do anything about it.

The Heavenly God Group was simply too powerful.

Powerful enough that they couldn't fight back.

"Crack—crack—crack—"

Under Huang Yun's relentless attacks, cracks appeared in Arishem's red armor.

Even cosmic energy couldn't repair it as fast as it was breaking apart.

Huang Yun's attacks had already exceeded the limit of what Arishem could withstand.
