Clashing with Odin

Huang Yun had no such intention, anyway.

"So I really did end up here."

Looking at Asgard, Realm of the Gods, floating above the Nine Realms, Huang Yun smiled.

At this point in time, Odin was still the Iron-Blooded God-King, dreaming of conquering the entire universe. He had yet to suffer a crushing defeat and remained full of ambition.

His daughter Hela had inherited the Death Godhead and was known as the Goddess of Death.

Countless lives had perished at the hands of the father and daughter.

At this point in time, Odin was near the peak, both in strength and in state of mind.

Although the Aesir grew stronger with age,

the elderly Odin had clearly lost that air of pride.

What's more, the elderly Odin could barely control the surging divine power within him. Simply managing to stay awake without falling into the Odinsleep was already his limit.

Otherwise, how could the God-King have been banished to Earth by Loki?

Odin at this stage made Huang Yun feel the urge to test his strength...

"Who's there?"

Odin sensed that he was being watched.

As the God-King of Asgard, Odin was a formidable force even among the God Kings!

"As expected of Odin, the God-King."

Huang Yun slowly stepped out of the void.

He hadn't deliberately concealed himself, but that didn't mean just anyone could sense his presence.

"Dimensional Demon God..."

Odin sensed the dimensional aura surrounding Huang Yun, too.

The aura of a Dimensional Demon God was extremely distinctive. Any powerhouse at the God King level or above could identify one on sight.

Odin had sensed this kind of aura countless times before, emanating from Dormammu and Mephisto.

But this time was different. Huang Yun's presence made Odin sense danger.

A deadly danger, at that.

He had never experienced anything like it before.

Even if Dormammu or Mephisto had left their dimensions, they couldn't have made him feel this kind of danger.

"Who are you?"

Odin stared warily at Huang Yun with his one eye.

He tightened his grip on Gungnir, readying himself for battle.

Looking at the one-eyed Odin, Huang Yun fell into thought.

In the vast Marvel universe, every universe developed differently.

Take the Odin before him, for example. He was already one-eyed, which meant that in this universe, Odin had traded one of his eyes to the Norns.

But Odin on the Sacred Timeline had lost his eye when Laufey blinded him during the Frost Giants' rebellion.

They were both Odin, but this one was clearly stronger than the Odin on the Sacred Timeline.

"You've already sensed it, haven't you? I'm a Dimensional Demon God."

Huang Yun spoke calmly as he watched Odin's wary expression.

Odin was powerful, but at most, he could match Huang Yun in his human form.

It was possible that Huang Yun's human form was even stronger than Odin.

"Do you intend to devour the Aesir?"

Odin fixed his one eye on Huang Yun, murder already glinting in his gaze.

This Odin was a conqueror of the Nine Realms, a God-King who sought to unite the universe.

He wasn't the kindly father of later years.

The fluctuations in Odin's divine power caught the attention of the other Aesir, too.

Hela, Goddess of Death, and Baldur the Bright God arrived at the palace at once.

"Father King!"

Before the two could even enter the palace, a powerful force stopped them at the entrance.

"Don't come in. Protect Asgard."

Odin's voice came from inside the palace.

Hearing him, Baldur and Hela exchanged a look. Both saw the concern in the other's eyes.

In their hearts, Odin was practically invincible.

Yet now, he hadn't even let them through the door.

And this was happening inside Asgard's palace. That alone showed how powerful their opponent was.

"How can someone like this even exist in the universe?!"

Hela stared at the palace doors in disbelief.

That was Odin, the God-King.

Even in the Pantheon, he was a High God on par with Zeus.

And now, right here in Asgard, someone had cornered him in the palace hall.

Just imagining it seemed like a joke.

If Odin weren't always so serious, Baldur and Hela would have thought he was joking.

"You don't want them to come in? You might not be able to beat me on your own."

Seeing that Odin had readied himself to fight, Huang Yun felt his own fighting spirit stir.

"If even I can't beat you, they won't be any help."

Odin spoke coldly.

He was a ruthless king at this point, but he still cared deeply for his children.

When Hela rebelled in later years and tried to take the throne from Odin, he couldn't bring himself to kill her. Instead, he imprisoned her in Helheim.

Of course, Huang Yun didn't know whether Odin had been unable to kill her or simply hadn't wanted to.

"Come on. Let me see what the God-King of the Nine Realms can do."

Huang Yun stopped hesitating, spread his hands, and calmly watched Odin.

"You're asking for death!"

Huang Yun's contemptuous attitude enraged Odin. He wanted nothing more than to kill him on the spot!

Their divine powers collided, and a massive shock wave swept through the entire palace.

Boom!

"Get out of the way!"

"Damn it!"

The shock wave from the collision sent Baldur and Hela, who had been guarding the entrance, flying.

The palace hall was sheared clean off at the roof.

"Asgard is beautiful. Let's take this fight to the stars."

Huang Yun only wanted to test Odin's strength and get a sense of his own. He didn't want to destroy Asgard.

"Hmph!"

Odin said nothing. The Bifrost enveloped his body, and he followed Huang Yun into the depths of space.

"Who was that?"

"He entered Asgard without anyone noticing and went straight to Father King."

By now, Baldur and Hela were both in a sorry state.

Neither of them was very old, and their combat strength had yet to reach its full potential.

Facing the collision of God King-level divine power, they had taken a hard hit.

"Damn it! Just let me find out who it was!"

Hela pounded the ground furiously.

She hadn't even seen the intruder before being blasted away.
