Chapter Summaries

Thunder Yatalis appeared as Earth’s ultimate armor, destroyed the invading army, and helped end the battle on Earth. It then flew to Asgard, where Hela was still fighting Surtur.

• Hela pretended to be weaker than she was while holding Surtur off and preparing to wound him with her unleashed power.
• Thunder Yatalis appeared above Earth, and the elemental crystals shone as thunder and dark clouds heralded its arrival.
• Wong explained that Thunder Yatalis was the physical manifestation of Earth’s will, an ultimate armor created as a safeguard by Mother Earth Gaia and the God of the Bright Dimension.
• Thunder Yatalis froze the invaders and portals, then struck the dark creatures, infernal beings, and Chitauri soldiers with lightning, burning them to ash.
• Thor knocked Loki down, Tony took the Mind Scepter and closed the last portal, and the surviving defenders celebrated their victory.
