Before Li Pu could react, Chun Li scooped him up and plopped him into the shopping cart.
"Let's go find some meat~"
Chun Li's smile was sweet as she pushed the cart weaving between the shelves, frolicking happily through the aisles.
She was lost in the innocent, lively joy of a child's smile.
After a long while, the two returned to the supermarket counter.
Li Pu looked at the food in the cart—only meat and frozen ready meals, no vegetables. The fresh produce section's greens had all gone bad.
"Tap water's definitely unusable, and that saves me the trouble of washing vegetables."
As he pondered to himself, Chun Li had already started moving.
She pulled out an induction cooktop and a small pot, poured bottled water into it, tossed in frozen meat, and plugged it in to thaw.
Luckily, he'd crossed into a world with similar tastes to the Japanese—he'd found hot pot seasoning. Otherwise, Li Pu would've been in a real bind.
After a flurry of activity, they could finally eat hot pot.
Other survivors were scraping by on empty stomachs, yet here they were, comfortably enjoying hot pot. Li Pu felt an indescribable satisfaction.
"Eat this, fish ball." Chun Li picked up a fish ball with her chopsticks and placed it in Li Pu's bowl.
"And this, beef ball."
In no time, Li Pu's bowl was piled high by Chun Li.
"Ahaha, don't worry about me, you eat too." Li Pu was a bit awkward.
Did Chun Li have some kind of feeding fetish or something?
To make eating easier, Chun Li had tied her hair into a high ponytail. She smiled at Li Pu with a gentle expression.
Under that gaze, Li Pu could barely breathe, nervously clutching his bowl as he ate.
"Little Pu, be my disciple. My last closed-door disciple." Seeing Li Pu's adorable, slow-eating manner, Chun Li couldn't hold back any longer and blurted out her ultimate goal.
Throughout their journey, she'd grown fonder and fonder of this silly little boy.
"Mm." Li Pu chewed his food, mumbling a vague agreement.
"Doesn't matter if I formally take her as master or not—I can still learn by grinding Affection Points anyway."
But to Chun Li, this meant the world. She'd finally found her most ideal successor: "Really?!" Stars practically sparkled in her eyes.
Li Pu swallowed his food and spoke slowly: "It's the end of the world, just the two of us. Chun, you can do whatever you want."
Chun Li's face flushed red at that, and she fidgeted uneasily.
At that moment, she thought of the story of Xiao Long Nu and Yang Guo.
"Struggling to survive like this, it's only a matter of time before Little Pu becomes a Rebellious Disciple and we end up living together in perfect harmony."
Chun Li cast a downward glance at Li Pu, as if she'd made up her mind about something.
"Little Pu is probably the only man I can trust in this apocalypse."
A strange fighting spirit ignited in Chun Li's heart: "Good men need to be raised yourself! So what if there's a dozen years' age gap? Age isn't a problem!"
Li Pu had no idea what was going through Chun Li's mind when her Affection Points were only at fifty.
"Then you have to offer the Apprenticeship Tea!" With that thought, Chun Li straightened up and put on a stern face.
This old lady might end up giving herself to you someday, but I'm not letting you off easy! Not a single ritual step can be skipped!
"Apprenticeship Tea, Char Siu Rice, Three Kowtows and Nine Bows—these three can't be missed. Go find them on the shelves." Chun Li continued sternly, looking every bit the grand master.
"Finally giving me a quest, huh?" Li Pu stared at Chun Li, a bit confused.
Li Pu set down his bowl and chopsticks and stood up: Hope this boosts Affection Points. Time to unclog the toilet~
Chun Li was quite satisfied with his attitude. She also put down her utensils, letting the food in the pot bubble away.
"Today, this old lady only eats your Apprenticeship Char Siu Rice."
Chun Li had been too busy piling meat into Li Pu's bowl to eat herself, and now her stomach was growling.
"Can't let my meal ticket go hungry." Li Pu sped up.
He couldn't find authentic Hong Kong-style char siu, so he grabbed a vacuum-packed frozen grilled meat as a substitute.
For the Apprenticeship Tea, he used a herbal tea drink instead.
After grabbing a small bag of rice from the grain and oil section, he returned to Chun Li's counter.
By then, Chun Li had found a chair and sat upright, waiting for her beloved disciple.
Li Pu grinned at her, put the rice and bottled water into a brand-new electric rice cooker from the supermarket, and started steaming the rice.
He tossed the grilled meat in too, hoping to cook it together with the rice.
Chun Li watched Li Pu's clumsy movements with inner satisfaction.
"Don't pour so much water—just up to the first knuckle." She couldn't help reminding him, even though her own cooking was terrible. Her eldest disciple, Li Fen, could definitely vouch for that.
Once everything was set, Li Pu held the Char Siu Rice in his left hand and the Herbal Tea drink in his right, presenting them to Chun Li.
"This is the Respect Tea, and also the Name-Changing Tea. Once you drink it, you'll have to call me master—though of course, you can still call me Chun."
"One day as teacher, a lifetime as mother. Calling me Mom is fine too." Chun Li joked playfully, the upward curve of her lips unable to hide her beautiful mood.
"The martial arts I've studied are quite mixed—Wing Chun, Hung Ga, Xing Yi, Baji, Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, and Ancient Kicking Techniques. They're mostly skill-based attack methods, so we don't have a clear founding master. No need to bow to a portrait." She said this with a hint of shyness, afraid Li Pu might look down on her for being a jack-of-all-trades.
"So many, that's amazing." Li Pu only felt it was impressive and high-class.
Chun Li's heart warmed.
[Chun Li Affection Points +1]
[Current Affection Points: 51/100]
"Will there ever be a day of Betraying the Master?" She watched Li Pu performing the Apprenticeship Ceremony, a faint, taboo sense of anticipation rising within her.

Chapter 9: Life Will Find Its Own Way, The Evolving Zombies
Chun Li pressed her plump thighs together, happily eating the Char Siu Rice Li Pu had made for her.
The tight white flared pants accentuated Chun Li's signature thick legs in a somewhat suggestive way.
When she comfortably crossed her legs, Li Pu could even make out the shape of a big white steamed bun through her full thighs.
Chun Li took a mouthful of rice and a bite of meat, humming a vague tune, completely unaware of her beloved disciple's gaze.
"Mm-hmm, Sect Rule Number One: Master is forever eighteen! This is the most important. Do you acknowledge it?" Old Auntie Chun Li's gaze carried a sweetly threatening edge, and Li Pu had no choice but to smile wryly in agreement.
Only then did Chun Li give him a look that said "you know what's good for you" and let him off.
How much did she care about her age? Before Li Pu could finish his inner rant, Chun Li's second rule came.
"Rule Two: The disciple must obey all of the master's requests."
"Rule Three: In case of any unforeseen circumstances, follow Rules One and Two."
Li Pu examined the beautiful, mature woman before him, who was clearly delighted, and gave a helpless smile: "Got it, Master."
Chun Li nodded in satisfaction, gesturing for her disciple to withdraw.
A Side Quest? Do it and get Affection Points?
"A woman's heart is like a needle at the bottom of the sea, and I'm just an Inexperienced Young Man. This problem is too hard." Thinking this, he walked to the rice cooker and filled himself a bowl of rice.
Since things had come to this, let's eat first.
He ladled hot pot broth over the rice, fished out a few pieces of meat and some meatballs, and dug in heartily.
In an apocalypse like this, who knew when the next full meal would come.
After clearing the food in his bowl, Li Pu felt something strange.
He put down the bowl and looked up—it was Chun Li's burning gaze fixed on him.
She had somehow already sat down in front of him, watching him with a doting smile, completely satisfied.
Just as Li Pu was about to speak, Chun Li's hand reached out.
Her jade-like fingers lightly brushed the corners of his mouth, gathering every stray grain of rice that had escaped his face, then she parted her rosy lips and ate them one by one.
"Can't waste any." After saying this, Chun Li licked her fingers with lingering satisfaction.
"Sure enough, these taste better." Chun Li secretly rejoiced, suppressing the urge inside her, trying not to act too much like a lewd woman in front of her beloved disciple.
Li Pu watched Chun Li's blissful, almost improper expression and felt speechless inside.
Wasn't this... a little off?
Before Li Pu could figure it out, Chun Li pounced on him like a hungry tiger: "Good disciple, we're done eating! Time to rest!"
He was hit full-on by a Face Wash, and Chun Li picked him up, carrying him toward the back of the counter.
She had already cleaned this area while he was looking for the apprenticeship items, and had even prepared bedding.
"How did she find this red Mandarin ducks patterned quilt among all those cartoon-patterned ones?" Li Pu looked at the big red quilt on the floor, a little exasperated. He had too many things to complain about today and was starting to get used to it.
Chun Li set him down on the counter and took off his shoes.
"Uh, I can do it myself." He felt a bit embarrassed; Chun Li seemed to be fussing over him too much right now.
Chun Li held down the struggling Li Pu, feigning a coquettish scold: "A disciple should listen to his master! Behave!"
Though Li Pu now had the Fighter Physique, he was firmly pinned down by Chun Li and didn't want to fall out with her, so he resigned himself to his fate.
She deftly removed Li Pu's shoes, carefully examined his feet in their little white socks, and after getting her fill, blushed and said, "Good, no Flat Feet."
Li Pu was a bit awkward. He could only watch the real-time surveillance feed on one of the two monitors on the counter, praying for this awkward time to pass quickly.
The four surrounding cameras outside the supermarket were split into four windows on the screen, and Li Pu watched them idly.
Chun Li barely contained her excitement, her face shifting between smiles and seriousness in rapid succession, until she finally pressed herself directly against Li Pu's body, not letting her beloved disciple see her somewhat flustered expression.
Li Pu had no choice but to prop up one of her melons and continue watching the situation outside through the surveillance feed.
These zombies moved slowly, aimlessly wandering the streets. Occasionally, when a survivor passed by, they would chase and bite at a very sluggish pace.
"True enough—even zombies have to obey the law of energy conservation. That perpetual-motion-machine nonsense in movies and games is really too absurd." Li Pu watched the monitors, feeling a bit more at ease, but then something unexpected appeared on the screen.
The zombies outside split into two groups. One group began frantically biting and devouring their own kind, cannibalizing each other. When they attacked, they always went for the brain first, sucking out the green fluid inside, then eating the rotting flesh to replenish energy. A few minutes after these zombies filled their stomachs, their bodies started to change. Some had bones protruding outward, growing hard bone spikes. Others had muscle hyperplasia, their bodies covered in bulging sinews. This wave of zombies seemed to be using this method to replenish energy and begin evolving.
The other wave of zombies, Li Pu thought, had no ambition. They set their sights on the greenery in the city's greenbelts. They frantically ate grass, gnawed on trees, and scavenged the rare mushrooms in the corners and crevices. After a short while, they too began to evolve. Some grew branches and leaves on their bodies, others grew vines, and they all stood still, basking in the setting sun.
Ignoring his fumbling, lewd master Chun Li, who had even secretly stolen a few kisses from his muscular upper body, he continued observing the situation on the monitor: "They're photosynthesizing?"
"Sure enough, that saying holds true: Life Will Find Its Own Way." Li Pu's mood grew heavier. The zombies had solved their survival problem, but what about him?
Just then, Chun Li, having finished admiring Li Pu's upper body, extended her sinful hands toward his waist.
"Master, what are you doing?" Li Pu jolted, but the Face Wash was suppressing him at that moment.
"Taking off your pants, of course. You're sleeping with your pants on? What's a little boy afraid of!" Chun Li now put on the air of a strict teacher, all serious and proper.
She stopped pressing against Li Pu, bent down, swallowed her saliva, and slowly pulled his pants down.
The scent of a wet-behind-the-ears youth, mixed with Li Pu's premature hormones and Pheromone, made her mouth dry.
It was over. The little brother's situation was completely exposed.
Chun Li stared in shock at Li Pu's third leg, covering her mouth in surprise: "So much Yang Energy?"
Although old auntie Chun Li had never experienced the real thing, she had seen plenty of educational materials. Her beloved disciple's condition clearly surpassed that of a normal adult man—even a Black Man's.
Li Pu's face reddened. Having his pants pulled off by a beautiful, mature woman—aside from his mother when he was little—Chun Li was the only other woman to do such a thing.
But he didn't see that behind the hand covering her mouth, Chun Li was licking her pink tongue over her cherry lips with a lewd smile.
"Today really is... a double blessing~?"
