A young man ran wildly through the torrential rain. Behind him lay several bodies scattered every which way, their blood mixing with the rainwater and staining the ground red.
He shoved open the wooden door and saw that his little sister was safe and sound. Without caring how muddy the ground was, he plopped down in the doorway and burst into laughter.
As he laughed, he began to cry. He got to his feet and clung tightly to his little sister, as if she were a lost treasure he had finally found again, unwilling to let go.
"Little sis, you're finally safe."
His little sister was at a loss at his behavior. She wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say, so she could only gently pat his back.
Just as she was about to say something comforting, she realized the young man had already fallen asleep against her shoulder.
