September 5, light rain.
What perfectly fitting weather.
Although we had defeated the Azure-class warship of the Zhutian Civilization, received the technology it had left behind, and begun researching it, Blue Star was flourishing.
But as Blue Star's de facto ruler, I could not lose myself in joy. Victory was only temporary. Even if I controlled the commander and had him report to the Zhutian Civilization that everything was proceeding smoothly,
the Zhutian Civilization's higher-ups would inevitably grow suspicious if they failed to conquer Blue Star for too long. They would send more warships—and more advanced ones—to deal with Blue Star.
One Azure-class warship had already been this troublesome. If they sent several more, or if there were even Blue-class or Violet-class warships among them, Blue Star would surely suffer a calamity of annihilating proportions.
Passive defense was not an option. For now, the only plan was to strike first.
With the Azure-class warship's help, I would infiltrate the planet discovered by the Zhutian Civilization that possessed "high-grade spirit stones." It was the power source of the Zhutian Civilization's biotechnological systems. Causing destruction there could greatly delay the Zhutian Civilization's invasion of the various civilizations and buy them time to develop.
This was an extremely dangerous operation, but it was the only thing I could do—and the only one who could do it was me.
The strongest combat force I currently had at hand was the Corpse Kings. But sending the Corpse Kings to an alien planet alone obviously would not work; they still needed me to command them.
I had already made proper arrangements for what would happen after my death. As my trusted confidant, the Doctor would take my place and lead Blue Star's rise from the wasteland.
To avoid causing panic, I had designated this operation as
