The battle continued. Although Blue Star's side was still at a disadvantage, the situation hadn't become completely one-sided.
Just one interstellar battleship had Blue Star pinned down tight. It was hard to imagine what the full strength of the Zhutian Civilization might be like. If we managed to repel this attack, what would we do next time, when the Zhutian Civilization sent two or three battleships?
But now wasn't the time to think about all that. We had to get through this first.
After paying a price, we finally captured a small biological spaceship—and its pilot.
The pilot looked much like an ordinary human. Not only were its facial features similar, but its skin tone was hardly any different. It was simply much stronger, more powerful than any athlete and faster, too.
The pilot spoke in a language no one could understand. Aside from the zombie planet's will, the only things we could make out after translating were dull phrases like "inferior life-form," "let me go," and "you're all dead."
At first, I'd thought of torturing it to see if we could get any useful information, but the Zombie King said it had the power to manipulate souls and could directly search the pilot's consciousness.
The Zombie King's ability to manipulate souls really was incredible. There were still so many things in this world I didn't understand.
After the Zombie King searched the pilot's consciousness, the pilot became dazed and stupid. It was probably a side effect.
The pilot was only a low-ranking combatant and didn't know much, but it still had plenty of interesting information to share, such as the origins of the Zhutian Civilization.
The Zhutian Civilization had originated hundreds of thousands of years ago. Back then, civilizations were numerous, and the Zhutian Civilization
