Chen Yi advanced through Xiaoyao Holy Land, rescued Li Lingyue from a forced marriage, and brought Shen Qingshan to Shen Yang for their merging. He warned Shen Yang that the Dragon Person Race threatened the Human World and urged him to prepare its defenses.

• Chen Yi joined Xiaoyao Holy Land’s selection under the name Chen Dong, won the Golden Body Realm division, and chose Jiugong Island’s Formation Dao inheritance.
• Chen Dong became Jiugong Island’s Young Island Master, received the Nine Crows Divine Bow, and left to find Li Lingyue as she was sent north for a political marriage.
• Chen Yi rescued Li Lingyue from the wedding procession and took her to Hua Wuyan, who accepted her as a disciple and gave Chen Yi the Mountain River Armor.
• Chen Yi left Li Lingyue to begin her Empress’s Path and persuaded Shen Qingshan to pursue the Star Domain Shen Family’s opportunity to merge with Shen Yang.

Chen Yi warned the Demon Race about the Dragon Person invasion, then led the Holy Son candidates through a disastrous journey across conquered worlds. He returned to the Human World with survivors and evidence of the threat as its factions prepared for war.

• Shen Yang explained the limits of Mortal World Qi and revealed that the Demon Emperor had struck the Human World before its planned attack.
• Chen Yi exposed Shen Wanquan as a Dragon Person Race infiltrator, gathered Shen Family support, and began refining the Myriad Souls Banner.
• Chen Yi completed the Myriad Souls Banner, learned the Dragon Person Race’s invasion methods from Huchacha, and persuaded the Demon Ancestors to prepare for war.
• At the Holy Son finals, a Dragon Person space cannon attacked Chaofeng Island, forcing Chen Yi and the candidates into the Nine Provinces Cauldron and Spatial Turbulence.
• Chen Yi captured two Dragon Person warriors, learned how the Three-Headed World had been conquered, and led his companions into its Reserved Zone.
• Chen Yi and his allies destroyed the Dragon Person forces in the Reserved Zone, but Jin Feijin killed several companions before Wang Mingbai sacrificed his life to help them escape.

• Chen Yi and the survivors returned to the Human World, where Xie Guihong brought them to Xiaoyao Holy Land as its factions prepared for the invasion.

Chen Yi uncovered Blood Moon’s false leadership and gathered allies as the Dragon Person Race launched its invasion. After Xiaoyao God sacrificed himself and many allies fell, Chen Yi brought the survivors and Demon Race to Cangqiong Ridge, where the allied forces prepared to face the enemy.

• Chen Yi learned that Chen Yue’s soul had gone to the Real Realm while her body remained in the Holy Land, then accepted the role of the Seven Luminaries Immortal Array’s eighth member.
• Chen Yi reached Martial King, strengthened his arts and formations, and investigated Blood Moon, discovering that its leaders were expendable puppets directed by secret orders.
• Ji Wuqing identified Black Wind as a Dragon Scale Horse from the Real Realm, while Chen Yi learned more about reaching that realm and developed his Incense Dao.
• The Dragon Person Race attacked the Luanjing Sea, and Chen Yi rescued the surviving Wang Family members before confronting Qingtai’s forces and learning the invaders were using Demon Sealing Nets.
• Chen Yi raced to the Holy Lands and found them devastated, then joined Hua Wuyan and the survivors in battling the Dragon Person army as Xiaoyao God sacrificed himself to protect the evacuation.
• Black Wind’s bloodline flames drove back the Dragon Person troops, and Hua Wuyan brought Chen Yi and the survivors to Baisi Mountain, where the Four Ancestors arrived with the Demon Race.
• Chen Yi led the allied forces to Cangqiong Ridge, activated the Immortal Formation: Line of Heaven, and faced the arriving Dragon Person army while its Earthly Venerables disputed command.

Chen Yi led the Human World Allied Forces through the Dragon Person invasion, then faced Formless after the Dragon Person leaders fused with it. He activated the Seven Luminaries Immortal Array, gained control over the Human World, and used spatial rifts to cut Formless apart and exile its fragments into the Void Realm.

• Chen Yi activated the Yixiantian Array to hold back the Dragon Person army, and Sun Cheng'en sacrificed himself to destroy the City-Annihilating Cannon before Chen Yi unleashed Extreme Rage and drove the invaders back.
• Hua Wuyan sacrificed herself to awaken the Spiritual Artifacts, which rebelled against the Dragon Person army, while Li Wentian and Hu Tiangong joined the battle before Hua Wuyan's soul dispersed.
• After a year of quiet, Chen Yi infiltrated the Dragon Person stronghold and discovered that they destroyed conquered worlds to harvest Longevity Source and were raising Formless as a weapon.
• The Three Heavenly Venerables impersonated Chen Yi to trick the Human World Allied Forces into attacking, then trapped the troops in the Eight Directions Immortal Imprisonment Array until the Sword Master broke it and died.
• Chen Yi fought the Three Heavenly Venerables across the Human World, but they absorbed the surviving Dragon People and fused their souls with Formless, which began sinking the continent.
• Chen Yi arranged the Seven Luminaries Immortal Array, gathering power from seven array eyes while Li Lingyue fought Formless and bought him time.
• Chen Yi completed the array and gained control over matter and energy in the Human World, though his lifespan rapidly declined and he could not locate the Real Realm.
• Chen Yi repeatedly opened spatial rifts and sliced Formless into fragments, exiling them into the gaps of the Void Realm.
