The Translucent walked out of the filming location and headed towards the underground parking lot.
The moment the Translucent entered the underground parking lot, a chilling aura quickly spread.
A disguised Hydra agent appeared, wielding a weapon and launching an attack.
"Hey, big guy, this isn't a smart move," the Translucent quipped, swiftly activating his unique invisibility ability.
His figure vanished instantly from sight, as if merging with his surroundings. The Hydra agent's vision went black, and he looked around in confusion.
"Where did he go?" the agents beside him murmured anxiously.
"He's invisible, switch to thermal imaging," the Hydra agents immediately activated their thermal vision.
Suddenly, an agent felt a chill on his neck. He instinctively touched it, only to feel the cold edge of a blade.
"Don't worry, big guy, I won't let you get away that easily," the Translucent's voice echoed in the agent's ear, laced with a relaxed and humorous tone.
The agent turned to find the Translucent, but saw no one. The Translucent materialized beside him in an instant, dagger in hand, a mocking smile on his face.
Swish!
Blood splattered!
"You guys are really stubborn," the Translucent taunted.
The Hydra agents angrily raised their weapons to attack, but each shot only hit empty air. The Translucent dodged nimbly, appearing beside the agents one moment and disappearing the next.
"Your attacks are completely ineffective," the Translucent mocked, his figure darting around the agents, leaving them helpless.
Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!
One by one, the agents' necks spurted blood, and they fell like disabled aircraft into pools of their own blood.
Sensing movement behind him, a Hydra agent swung a katana from top to bottom. The Translucent's fist flashed with an electric glow, striking the agent's chest. The agent collapsed in pain, unable to move.
"The little trinkets from the weapons research department are quite useful," the Translucent flicked the Switchable Electric Gloves on his hand.
The Translucent slowly walked over to the agent, looking down at him with a triumphant smirk.
"Next time, remember not to easily challenge the superhero Translucent," the Translucent said confidently, then quickly vanished into the underground parking lot.
As for his car, forget it. The Translucent knew what kind of people these were; his car was probably already rigged with a bomb.
"Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep."
"Looks like another failure," Sitwell said, watching the grim-faced Crossbones.
"Cut the crap," Rumlow glared unhappily at the Hydra agents collapsing on the screen.
"So, are we continuing? The Minister told you to stop," Sitwell pouted, sipping his red wine.
Rumlow didn't reply, but left his seat with a dark expression.
Sitwell shrugged and muttered to himself, "I told you so. Assassination, assassination, hide in the shadows and fire a Bullet, that's all it takes. They just like capturing them alive, for experimental subjects, see."
For the next period of time, Hydra seemed to quiet down, no longer launching offensives against Nathan Hawke and the superheroes.
Inside the filming location.
"Ahhhhh!" Andrew clutched his head in pain, staring at the script with a splitting headache.
Andrew initially thought acting would be easy, that he just had to be himself and could party all night.
But the reality was different. Andrew remembered the days prior.
"All three of you need to take your first movie roles seriously. Understand?" Nathan Hawke and Wesker, standing behind him, looked at them sternly.
Oh, Wesker was wearing sunglasses.
Although Andrew wanted to argue that he was a superhero, and acting was just a bonus, he saw his good friend, the Translucent, looking like "Boss, you're absolutely right," and shut his mouth.
"This script, along with the producers and special effects, are top-notch. None of you are allowed to slack off," Nathan Hawke said very seriously to the three, though mainly to Andrew and Electro.
As for the Translucent, Nathan Hawke didn't need to worry about him; the guy was more than familiar with this kind of thing.
Nathan Hawke wouldn't tell the three of them that he was having them act to increase their public profile, build up the superhero team, and increase his own summoning energy.
"Act well, meeting adjourned," Nathan Hawke said, then dismissed the three.
Andrew sat on the steps, shaking his head to clear his agitated mood, and looked at the "heroine" who was seriously getting into character.
"She's so beautiful. I wonder if she'd be interested in appreciating the night sky with me," Andrew licked his lips, looking at her shapely posterior.
The heroine turned back and gave Andrew a seductive smile, causing him to instantly straighten up. He couldn't help but exclaim, "So hot!"
Meanwhile, Electro was performing with great excitement. Ever since arriving in this world, Electro had been constantly remarking that he had come to the right place.
This is the right place, meow, this is the right place, thank you, meow.
Electro had gained a lot of attention, and his life was very comfortable. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say Nathan Hawke was his reborn parent.
Looking at the people around him, all of whom either admired or tried to please him, Electro could only say, "This feels great!"
"Max, prepare for the next scene," the director called out kindly to Electro.
"I'm ready, Director," Electro smiled and waved, quickly getting into character.
Defeating "Spider-Man"?
I, "Electro King," threw that idea away long ago.
Now, the "big star" and "superhero," Electro, Max.
Electro, a man in a state of elation yet self-aware.
Watching his secretary report on Andrew and Electro's work, Nathan Hawke nodded.
"Call them later and tell them to take down some criminals in their spare time," Nathan Hawke waved his hand, dismissing the secretary.
At the same time, he prepared to greet Justin Hammer, who was about to arrive.
"Wow, big boss." Justin Hammer exclaimed, spreading his arms wide as he stepped through the automatic doors and approached Nathan Hawke.
"Cut the act, how did things go?" Nathan Hawke held a bottle of 1982 red wine, uncorked it, and poured a glass in one smooth motion.
"Thank you." Justin Hammer took the glass and said, "I've bought off quite a few people recently, politicians, senators on our side. And a few Rear Admirals from the military. But now both the politicians and the military want to invest. I'm hoping for military investment. Of course, in another way, by funding the military with my, or rather, our weapons."
Nathan Hawke nodded. "That's not bad either, a win-win situation. But I heard your orders have exploded recently, aren't you losing money by giving them to the military for free?"
Justin Hammer gave a sly smile. "It's all just outdated junk. If I give it away, I give it away. The R&D department is currently developing a new missile, I've already thought of a name for it: 'Ex-Wife Missile'." Justin Hammer immediately looked proud.
"Oh, and I've prepared the contract too. We'll each give 3% to the military, and that should satisfy them." Justin Hammer finally got to the main point.
"Fine." Nathan Hawke nodded in agreement, as this was something he and Justin Hammer had agreed upon earlier.
"With the military backing us, plus the senators on our side, and with the excuse that superheroes have human rights, the hearing won't be able to proceed. But..." Justin Hammer wore a very happy smile.
Without waiting for Nathan Hawke to speak, he downed the red wine in one gulp. "They're planning to use Stark, Iron Man's name, to convene a hearing."
Justin Hammer snorted coldly, then continued, "If it weren't for his godfather pulling strings for him, would he be where he is today? This time, without his godfather smoothing things over for him, he'll have to attend the hearing himself." He then wore a cruel smile. "What do you think, if during the hearing, these senators discover Stark's weakness."
"Then his Stark Industries will be torn to shreds by 'capital' and 'politicians'."
Justin Hammer wore a pleased expression, as if he could already see the scene of Stark Industries Group on the verge of collapse.
"I remember they were planning to rename the company recently, something like Stark Energy?" Nathan Hawke swirled his wine glass, then drank it down.
"Yes, they're going to rename it." Justin Hammer's demeanor instantly deflated.
Justin Hammer was actually overjoyed when he learned that Stark was no longer playing in the "weapons" arena. But well...
After "energy," he moved on to something even more advanced than weapons.
Their energy could be weapons, but his weapons weren't energy. Justin Hammer couldn't help but feel incredibly jealous.
Nathan Hawke remained silent, but looking at Justin Hammer's expression, he thought about how formidable Justin Hammer's methods were as a company boss in the Iron Man 2 plot.
A hearing to test Tony Stark's courage.
Ivan Vanko, whose intelligence was second only to Tony Stark's.
A weapons display, competing with Tony Stark's Iron Man suits, and with overwhelming numbers, looking incredibly formidable.
To be honest, if Tony Stark weren't the protagonist, this barrage of attacks would indeed be difficult to withstand.
At the same time, Nathan Hawke also felt a sense of pity for Justin Hammer.
His current backing was S.H.I.E.L.D., who were the ones supporting Tony Stark and allowing him to roam freely within his Iron Legion.
Looking at Justin Hammer, who was excitedly envisioning the bankruptcy of Stark Company.
Nathan Hawke could only accompany him, laughing along.
"Hahahahahaha."
"Hehehehehehehe."
This scene left the Translucent, lurking nearby, utterly speechless.
