Dexter DeShawn coldly glanced at Nash. The other's contempt and provocation were beneath his notice. As a well-known fixer in Night City, he had seen far too many people like this. In his eyes, Nash was nothing more than a minor player.
"Looks like the Night Haunters are as rude as ever," Dexter DeShawn said disdainfully.
Nash sneered. "We don't need to be polite to a fixer like you."
"Very well. Since you don't trust us, there's nothing left to discuss." Dexter DeShawn turned to leave.
"Wait." Nash stopped him. He did not want to miss any possible opportunity either. "Tell me, what kind of cooperation are you proposing?"
"We're going to attack Corporate Plaza in Night City," Dexter DeShawn said without hesitation.
"Are you looking to die?" Nash looked at the overconfident Dexter DeShawn as if he were insane. "Corporate Plaza has NCPD patrols around the clock, along with the vicious Riot Control Unit. If you want to die, don't drag me into it."
"Quite a few others are involved besides you," Dexter DeShawn said flatly.
Nash raised a brow, intrigued. "Oh? Looks like some big shots are getting involved." Then he grinned. "If that's the case, you must have gone to the Adkado first and hit a wall before coming to me."
"Just tell me whether you're in or not." Dexter DeShawn did not want to waste words.
Nash gave him a disdainful look. "In? Then show me what you're capable of first."
Nash clapped heavily, and a group of Night Haunters surrounded them with provocative expressions.
A fight was about to break out!
Electric Man made his move. His body seemed to merge with endless lightning, arcs crackling around him as though a god had descended.
"What the hell is that?" Nash was still reeling in shock.
