I Like You

"We can't finish all this."

Chen Yanxi glanced at the remaining ingredients and then at Wang Ge, who was patting his stomach as if he were full. She asked, "Can we pack this to go?"

"You want to take it? How about we try a little harder and finish it ourselves?"

Coincidentally, there was a young couple in front of Wang Ge and Chen Yanxi. The girl was clinging to her boyfriend's arm, sniffling and wiping away tears.

Wang Ge was being unreasonable.

Chen Yanxi rubbed her temples, truly unable to do anything about this guy.

She sighed and said, "You want comfort?"

"That's... simple and brutal," Wang Ge couldn't help but complain. "Xixi, you really have zero romantic cells."

"I just believe you have enough psychological resilience to withstand such a brutal method of comfort," Chen Yanxi smiled slightly. "Besides, you're not really sad about the movie."

"...I really thank you for your trust."

Wang Ge said resentfully.

The movie ended, and the two left the cinema.

They didn't rush back, and both decided to take a walk.

The May night wasn't as hot as the day; the temperature was quite cool, and occasionally a gentle breeze would brush against their faces, softly blowing the girl's hair.

Wang Ge, feeling a bit mischievous, reached out to hold the girl's hand, but she smiled and dodged him.

Chen Yanxi refused him outright.

Chen Yanxi found it both amusing and exasperating.

She was starting to suspect if this guy Wang Ge had some kind of magical button.

One press and he could switch personalities instantly, seamlessly.

When they first met, he was clearly a sincere and kind big boy.

Chen Yanxi said with a smile, "I'm going to stay at your place for two days. I should say a few nice words to appease you, my landlord, shouldn't I?"

He pressed play, and the girl's soft confession came from the phone:

Standing on the bustling street, Wang Ge smiled brightly and replied, "Let's be together."
