Fuxi Attained the Dao Through the Bagua; Grand Pure Laozi Said: Fuxi Has No Virtue and Shall Not Be Invested as Human Emperor

"Heaven, earth, thunder, wind, water, fire, mountain, and marsh are the ultimate principles and mysteries of heaven and earth."

Understanding grew ever clearer within his heart.

An exceptionally brilliant radiance bloomed from his body.

All manner of mysterious Bagua Dao Patterns emerged in the void, surrounding him like stars.

Such a sacred and solemn scene.

Naturally fell into the eyes of the nearby Human Race.

Some even recorded the event specifically, so that later generations would know the merit of Human Emperor Fuxi on this day: In ancient times, when Fuxi ruled the world, he looked up to observe the images in heaven and looked down to observe the laws of earth. He observed the markings of birds and beasts and the suitability of the land. Taking what was near from himself and what was far from objects, he thus first created the Bagua, using them to communicate the virtue of spirits and classify the dispositions of all things.

As Fuxi comprehended the Dao.

A dim Great Dao within the Primordial Wilderness gradually brightened.

It was the Dao of the Eight Trigrams.

The former Xi Huang of the Demon Race, Fuxi, had also deduced the Bagua before.

Yet those had been the Innate Eight Trigrams, unfathomable and difficult to grasp, and he had merely analyzed a small portion for his own use.
