Week after week.
November was just like before, still a boring month.
For these two weeks, Ding Yebai did nothing but work through test papers every day. How long had he been living like this? Probably ever since he had started his senior year of high school.
His brain had been overloaded for a long time. His studies were getting harder by the day, the intensity was high, time was tight, and he had to keep fighting nonstop. Winter was cold, and he had to get up early.
"This is really torture."
"I really don't want to get out of bed."
Sometimes, he would complain a little.
He hoped the Gaokao would arrive soon so he could put an end to these painful days. But at the same time, he didn't really want it to come. He always felt that once it did, he would lose many things.
In the past few practice tests, Ding Yebai had scored over 120 in English every time.
He could now firmly hold a position among the top three students in his class.
His teacher and classmates were all astonished that he had scored so highly in English several times in a row.
And it seemed that he could score even higher.
He himself was a little worn out. Sometimes, just seeing a test paper would give him a headache and make him fret.
Was this what they called a bottleneck period?
"Bullshit..."
Ding Yebai scratched his hair, feeling that he was merely making excuses for himself.
After returning home that evening, he took out his test papers and started tutoring with Yang Zhi, just as before.
For a while, Yang Zhi had been the one in poor spirits, with severe dark circles under her eyes.
Now, the two of them had switched places.
