Clearly, Ultron had still not been completely driven out. He was still observing what was happening inside Avengers Base through surveillance methods—or more precisely, observing Robet and Barry Allen, who had just returned.
Whether it was Barry Allen's earlier talk of reversing time, or the ability Robet had now displayed to instantly heal another person's injuries, both were things Ultron had not known. And so Ultron's interest was instantly piqued. Curiosity was probably an instinct for a life-form that had only just awakened self-awareness.
