"So you were the one hiding in the dark all along?" Flames of rage flickered in Darkseid's eyes. Anyone who had watched the home they had lived in for thousands of years be destroyed before their very eyes would not have been in a good mood.
Even though Darkseid had destroyed other people's homes and civilizations again and again before, all life held double standards. It was fine for him to destroy others' homes, but someone else destroying his was absolutely unacceptable.
"Darkseid, I've been waiting for you for a long time." Robet's expression did not change as he looked at the furious Darkseid. He merely spoke calmly. "Ever since Steppenwolf appeared on Earth, I started searching for you and Apokolips. Honestly, you hid yourselves pretty well..."
"There was no trace of you anywhere in the entire universe, and none of the civilizations or planets in the universe had ever heard your name. If I hadn't found a few Parademons Planets, I almost would've thought you weren't in this universe at all."
"Fortunately, you weren't the only ones hiding in this Cosmic Void. The Celestials were hiding here too. Otherwise, I really wouldn't have known how to find you."
"The Celestials!" Darkseid's pupils constricted slightly. He thought of what had happened earlier in the Cosmic Void, then looked at Robet warily and said, "So, the Celestials were scared off by you?"
Although the Cosmic Void was vast, the Celestials' movements could not be hidden from Darkseid when all was said and done, especially a commotion as huge as an entire race migrating. The Celestials were also an overlord-level force in the Cosmic Void, and at first, Darkseid had thought the Celestials were coming to attack him.
But later, Darkseid was shocked to discover that the Celestials had actually run away
