"Huh?" When he saw Butcher vanish, Ryan's voice carried a hint of surprise, because he recognized it as the Instant Transmission ability Hughie had used before.
"What's going on?" Homelander flew over behind Ryan. He was a little slower than Ryan, but he had likewise seen Butcher's alien-like head and his act of fleeing with Instant Transmission.
"So he actually has the ability to absorb other people's powers and life force? Interesting!" Ryan had no intention of answering Homelander. He sensed that Butcher had completely left the range of his perception. It seemed Butcher's mastery of Instant Transmission was not inferior to Hughie's at all.
"You mean Butcher absorbed the powers of his two companions?!" Seeing that Ryan ignored him and instead talked to himself, Homelander did not feel awkward. Instead, he stared in shock at the corpses of Hughie and Kimiko on the ground as he asked.
At this point, Hughie's and Kimiko's corpses could no longer be called corpses. The flesh, organs, and even bones inside their bodies had all vanished, leaving only a thin layer of skin. If he had not already known their identities, Homelander would not have been able to recognize them.
"Is this absorption of his limited, or is it unlimited?" Ryan still had no intention of paying Homelander any attention. He rubbed his chin and pondered. If Butcher's ability had no limits, then his potential was still quite considerable, but if it was limited, then this sort of ability clearly was not much to look at.
Having many abilities was not actually very useful. What mattered most was where the upper limit of those abilities lay, and to what extent one could bring them out.
If it was merely the Instant Transmission ability Butcher had displayed so far, on the same level as
