The new book, Starting by Killing Homelander to Become Superman, has already been released~
You never know until you look, and once you do, it gives you a shock—time really did fly. I actually wrote this book for more than three years.
It should have ended long ago. I'd already planned to start a new book around this time last year, but I kept slacking off and dragged it out until now. I am guilty!
I remember when this book first went premium, the number of favorites was pretty high, but the subscriptions collapsed—not even half of the normal actual following.
I originally said I'd work hard and mass-update to see if I could save it, doing over ten thousand words a day for about three months. In the end, the results did improve, but they still couldn't compare to the previous actual following. And even while maintaining ten thousand words a day, the average subscription started dropping, which killed my motivation all at once.
After that came a long period of slacking off and living off the minimum full-attendance bonus. Basically, rain or shine, it was four thousand one hundred words a day, with two days off every month like clockwork.
Speaking of it, it was strange too. When I was updating over ten thousand words a day, even twelve thousand didn't feel tiring, and sticking to it every day wasn't a problem. But once I was updating four thousand a day, even those four thousand words became a slow grind, and I had to wait until it was almost midnight before I could finish.
Once laziness formed as a habit, it really was a little hard to adjust back. If I wrote even a little extra the day before, I would automatically write a little less the next
