The Gap in Strength

"What?!" Tony Stark had been in the middle of research when Jarvis's voice made him instantly turn serious. He could accept someone outside using a first-generation Arc Reactor now; after Ivan Vanko's incident, the first-generation Arc Reactor was no longer much of a secret. But using his, Tony Stark's, voice was something else entirely!

"Find me the source of this video. Find where it was taken!" Tony Stark put down the research in his hands and spoke in a low voice as he looked at the video Jarvis was playing in front of him.

"The source of the video and the location of the video appear to be the same place—Gotham, where Wayne Enterprises' territory is located..." Jarvis's voice quickly rang out. "The person who sent the video also seems to be in Gotham. I'm tracking his location, but he appears to be rather skilled at hide-and-seek. I haven't caught him yet."

"Territory? Heh. What era is this? People still talk about territory? Wayne Enterprises really hasn't made much progress over the years. Their way of thinking is just too outdated!" Tony Stark curled his lip in disdain, clearly looking down somewhat on Wayne Enterprises, which nominally controlled Gotham. He glanced at the video footage still playing in front of him and swiftly made a decision.

"We'll go to Gotham first and take a look. Batman? I've heard of the guy. I don't know why Bruce would let someone like that run wild in Gotham, but Wayne Enterprises really is lacking. They've been developing Gotham for so many years, and they still haven't managed to keep all those criminals in Gotham under control..."

"Hm? Wait, that's not right. I remember seeing Batman's file before. Wasn't he an ordinary person who fought using high-tech equipment? What's going on with him here?
