And the overall situation on Earth was not very good, while the atmosphere in The Kent Family was only so-so as well. Even though The Kents already knew Clark was not dead, Clark had yet to recover, and that kept The Kent Family and The Danvers Family from having a good New Year. Even their traditional holiday trip was canceled.
At first, The Kents had even been prepared to stay on Savage Island the entire time. After all, Lex Luthor, the mastermind behind the creation of Doomsday, still had not been found. If they were captured again, they could very likely become Robet's weak point.
But Robet did not agree to The Kents' plan, because in his view, before Clark recovered, The Kents were already feeling somewhat depressed, and staying on Savage Island all the time would only make them feel even more stifled and bored.
Most importantly, just as Clark had thought before, Robet felt that since Lex Luthor already knew so much information about them, there was no guarantee he did not also know about Savage Island.
Perhaps Savage Island was safe to a certain extent, but Savage Island was still a Subspace. Even the current Robet had no way to sense The Kents' Ki inside Savage Island from Earth's normal space.
That meant that if Lex Luthor really could enter Savage Island and attack The Kents, Robet would not even be able to sense it!
Even if the chances of Lex Luthor entering Savage Island were not high, Robet could not gamble on such a thing. He had to strangle every possibility in the cradle!
And the most crucial thing was that Robet suddenly remembered something: Savage Island's Subspace could block many powerful beings and many technological methods, but Savage Island absolutely could not block Martian Manhunter!
