The underground space was not as mysterious as Star-Lord had first imagined. It even looked extremely crude. There was only a staircase leading down, and he had not gone far before the stairs broke off completely. Below him was pitch-black darkness; he could not see a thing.
"Can I fly?" Star-Lord had flown before with devices like foot-mounted Flamethrowers, but after awakening his divine power, he had never really thought in that direction. Now, though, if he could not fly, it seemed he would have to go back the way he came.
"It was that beam of light calling me. That should mean there's no problem, right? Besides, I'm already immortal. Even if I can't fly and fall down there, nothing should happen, right?" Star-Lord looked at the darkness below and hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he made up his mind.
