Crimson Desert

With the Gourmet Pyramid as their destination, Natalie, Leiyin, and Zebra rode camels through the desert.

Leiyin and Natalie shared one camel, while Zebra rode another.

"Wow, Leiyin, these camels look amazing!" Natalie exclaimed in spite of herself.

Leiyin said, "Didn't that old granny say so? These are called Water-Storing Camels. The humps on their backs can store two hundred liters of water."

Just as Leiyin had said, but even stranger was the fact that the camels' flanks had naturally grown faucets that dispensed fresh water whenever they needed it.

Leiyin smiled. "They're really convenient. Apparently, this is the only Water-Storing Camel in the town, and they lent it to us."

Natalie looked at the camel Zebra was riding. "That's all thanks to Mr. Zebra. Come to think of it, his camel is a Fine Wine Camel. Its hump must be filled with fine wine, right?"

Zebra threw his head back and laughed heartily. "Hahaha! Unlike you, I'm an adult and you're a child. I can enjoy fine wine while taking a leisurely trip!"

Leiyin glanced at him. "I'm warning you, don't get drunk."

Natalie said, "B-but the granny in the village said we didn't have to return the camels, right? They're only lending them to us, so why is that?"

Leiyin said, "It's probably because she knows our destination."

The Gourmet Pyramid was one of the Seven Great Miraculous Gourmet Buildings, a mysterious place that modern archaeologists around the world had yet to unravel even a single mystery about.
