The Morse Mountains, beneath Death Waterfall.
Leiyin hoisted the fully armed Natalie onto his back.
Sani teased him, "Miss Natalie, is it really all right for Leiyin to carry you? Why don't you let me carry you instead?"
At those words, Leiyin's expression darkened slightly. "She's my girlfriend. Of course I should be the one to carry her?!"
Sani turned to look at him and burst out laughing. "Oh, you're angry? Looks like you really care about her. Don't take it seriously—I was only joking. But jokes aside, everyone needs to stay alert from here on out."
Although Natalie felt a little embarrassed when Leiyin said that, her heart still felt warm.
It certainly lived up to its name, Death Waterfall. Swirling vortices appeared beneath the falls, and falling into them would mean certain death. That wasn't all—the vortices also whipped up powerful wind pressure, making everything around them whistle and roar.
The wind blew Natalie's hair into disarray. "The sound of the water is too loud! I can't hear anything!"
The wind pressure swept up the spray and sent it surging violently. In the air, the droplets shot out like bullets from a machine gun, instantly carving streaks of blood across Sani's body.
Since Leiyin had already reached the [Divine Emperor] level, his strength was far greater than Sani's. Natalie was also wearing a super bulletproof vest, so neither of them was harmed.
"M-Mr. Sani? Why is the water cutting into your body?" Natalie seemed puzzled by the phenomenon.
While facing the water bullets head-on, Sani explained, "In this ultra-high-pressure environment, the flying droplets are like sharp little blades. But if abrasive materials are mixed into water under such extreme pressure, it can even gain enough force to cut diamonds. That's the power of high-pressure water! The water of
