The Robot and the Octopus Monster

The Pirate Port Beneath the Undersea Cavern.

Just as they were talking, a rattling sound came from the other side of the ship.

"What was that?" Kid Goku reacted first, turning his gaze in that direction.

At that moment, the lower cabin of the ship suddenly opened, and a huge skeleton about four meters tall leaped out, wielding a long blade!

The sight of it startled the three of them badly.

Bulma was so frightened that she nearly froze in place, while the skeleton's sharp blade slashed toward them without hesitation.

Kid Goku reacted fastest as usual. He darted forward, scooped Bulma up, and carried her away from the spot, causing the giant skeleton to miss completely.

Krillin was nearly scared out of his wits as well. He stared wide-eyed and said, "Th-this is a ghost? Could this pirate ship be a ghost ship?"

Kid Goku set Bulma down, and she said in astonishment, "No, it doesn't look like a ghost. It looks more like a robot."

"A robot?" Krillin was even more confused.

The giant skeleton gripped a long blade in its right hand, while its left was a thick, black gun barrel. In the next instant, the barrel spat streams of fire at Kid Goku and the others, leaving Bulma even more terrified and helpless.

"You bastard!"

Kid Goku charged forward with a shout, leaped into the air, and kicked the thing directly in its long head. With a sharp creak, its mechanical head immediately twisted a full hundred and eighty degrees.

Just as Bulma had said, the frightening-looking skeleton really was a robot.

As a martial artist himself, Krillin refused to stand by. He advanced as well, concentrating his strength into his fist, and smashed through the skeleton robot's blade from the side!
