Two days of rest had left the centaurs refreshed. The cafeteria meals were delicious, and the dormitory beds were comfortable enough that some of the centaurs had even begun thinking, Why go anywhere else? Living here is pretty nice.

On the new day, after breakfast in the cafeteria, the soldiers responsible for leading the way set out early with the centaurs and arrived ahead of time at the railway station behind the fortress.

There was a relay station beside the railway station. After all, the border fortress was a military stronghold, and under normal circumstances, random outsiders were not allowed to enter freely.
Therefore, supplies sent to the fortress were generally unloaded here.
While the train was being unloaded and inspected, the railway workers could rest for a while at the relay station next door, have some tea, and grab a bite to eat.

The centaurs had just arrived and did not have a single copper coin in their pockets, so they certainly could not buy anything. But there was no problem with casually strolling around and looking.
