As the Wood Elf elder spoke, a large number of beast spirits had already gathered inside this "Soul Habitat," surrounding Sain.
A mage in the Saint Realm was already capable of absorbing the energy of heaven and earth, which also made them far more sensitive to energy and certain spiritual entities.
Sain had cultivated as an Elf Druid and reached the Saint Realm, so he clearly had some talent in this area. Even so, the situation before him still left the Wood Elf elder stunned again and again.
Sain himself, on the other hand, remained relatively calm.
After all, his "Beast Spirit Affinity" talent was right there. He had been able to see all kinds of beast spirits around him since he was a child.
As mentioned earlier, not just any beast spirit could enter this "Soul Habitat." Only beast spirits that shared a deep bond with them could enter this place.
Given that premise, what was most likely to form a deep bond with the Elf race?
The answer hardly needed stating: giant eagles!
Giant eagles were the partners of Giant Eagle Knights. Years of training and combat allowed them to forge deep bonds with the Elves who served as their knights.
Among the beast spirits now circling Sain, there were indeed quite a few other animals from the forest, but the most numerous were giant eagle spirits.
For Sain, this was actually a good choice.
He already had the Shadow Leopard for movement on the ground. With a Giant Eagle Beast Spirit that could fly as well, he would be able to roam both heaven and earth.
But if these were the only beast spirits the Wood Elf elder had been talking about, he was bound to feel somewhat disappointed.
