City Defense Crossbow Debuts

Following Zhuang Mengdie's idea, they did not need a fixed platform at all. The city defense crossbow they built could be operated by just two or three soldiers working together. Whenever they wanted to attack in a certain direction, they only needed to carry the crossbow over and set it up on the battlements.

Not only did this solve the problem of mobility, it could even reduce the amount of battlement space that a city defense crossbow would normally occupy.

After that, without paying any attention to the soldiers patrolling the battlements, the two of them spread out the hide blueprint and began sketching with charcoal pencils.

Any further modifications would have to wait until the actual device was made. They would then inspect it during practical use, see what problems remained, and make targeted adjustments and improvements.
