"What is this?!"
Feeling the power welling up within his bones, muscles, and flesh, Rhine immediately understood.
The Bronze Skin and Iron Bones talent, though its system description mainly stated that it made one impervious to blades and spears, immune to water and fire, untouched by External Evils, and capable of extending one's lifespan.
Still, it came from Yuan Hong before he attained the Dao. Even before that, he had been a mutated white ape; tearing tigers and leopards apart with his bare hands was probably as easy as playing around.
Besides, if one had Bronze Skin and Iron Bones but lacked physical strength, how could that body possibly support itself?
Thus, when this talent landed on Rhine, it greatly enhanced his physical strength as well.
Rhine tried throwing a punch. A sharp explosion cracked through the air, his fist moving so quickly it nearly left an afterimage before slamming into the wall.
At once, dense cracks spread across the wall. Where Rhine's fist had struck directly, an obvious dent had formed.
Rhine stared at the result of that punch, his face full of shock.
If that punch landed on a person, its power would be no weaker than an ordinary spell, right?
And after throwing such a punch, the recoil alone should have torn Rhine's hand to shreds. Yet now, he did not feel even the slightest pain, as though a gentle breeze had brushed across his hand.
Attack and defense as one!
"No wonder he was a Primordial big shot who could go toe-to-toe with Yang Jian. Isn't this talent far stronger than things in the wizarding world like Parseltongue, seeing through people's hearts, or smooth talk?"
"Oh, right. It can also extend one's lifespan by more than a century."
"Voldemort went through all that trouble murdering people and making Horcruxes, but in the end, it seemed he did not live longer than anyone else. He even lived such a miserable life. What was the point?"
"If he knew about my Bronze Skin and Iron Bones talent, wouldn't he cry with envy?"
If he could get that Staff Mastery talent from Hagrid as well, would that not be even more incredible?
Rhine clenched his fist, his heart surging with excitement, before finally leaving the bathroom.
When Hagrid saw Rhine emerge from the bathroom, a puzzled look appeared on his face.
"Rhine, did you hear anything just now?"
"I think I heard a thud."
"And just now, I got this hair-raising feeling. It was like some extremely dangerous magical creature had appeared. Conservatively speaking, it would have to be at least Class 5X."
Rhine's heart stirred.
Could the hair-raising feeling Hagrid sensed have been the aura released when he obtained the Bronze Skin and Iron Bones talent?
That made sense. Even if only a trace of the aura of a mutated white ape from the Primordial world leaked out, it would still be terrifying.
For someone like Hagrid, who dealt with dangerous magical creatures all year round, noticing it was hardly strange.
Still, Hagrid was being a little too conservative.
Class 5X?
If Yuan Hong's white ape body from before he attained the Dao came to the wizarding world, it could probably tear those so-called Class 5X dangerous magical creatures apart and eat them like spicy strips!
Rhine smiled and explained to Hagrid.
"That thud was me closing the toilet lid. As for a dangerous magical creature? How could that be possible? This is the Muggle world. Before I met you, I never even knew magical creatures existed."
"Were you too absorbed in looking at the Dinosaur Fossils and imagined it?"
Hagrid scratched his head. Though he was still somewhat confused, Rhine's words convinced him.
"That's true. How could there be such a dangerous magical creature here?"
"All right, Rhine, it's about time. I'd better take you to the wizarding world quickly. We still have lots of things to buy."
"As for the Dinosaur Fossils..."
Hagrid's gaze swept over the Triceratops.
Though this dinosaur was huge and imposing, Hagrid still preferred fierce carnivorous dinosaurs.
His gaze wavered indecisively between the Velociraptor and the pterosaur.
The next second, Rhine said decisively, "Hagrid, stop hesitating. I'll give you both the pterosaur and Velociraptor fossils."
"If you consider me a friend, don't refuse. Once we get to Hogwarts, just show me some other magical creatures."
"All right, stop thinking about turning me down. Taking me to the wizarding world is the most urgent thing, isn't it? It's getting late."
Hagrid's face flushed red with excitement. He thanked Rhine repeatedly and patted his chest, promising that he would definitely take Rhine into the Forbidden Forest to see some good things.
The smile at the corners of Rhine's lips widened.
It felt like his relationship with Hagrid had grown a little closer.
He believed that if he gave Hagrid a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil next Christmas or on Hagrid's birthday, he would surely raise their relationship to Close Friendship.
And with Hagrid's personality, once Hagrid considered him a close friend, could Life-and-Death Friendship be far behind?
The Staff Mastery talent and the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts cultivation method were both beckoning to him!
Before long, Rhine followed Hagrid out of his estate.
They did not use Apparition to travel to Diagon Alley. Perhaps Hagrid was not skilled at that magic, but Rhine did not find it much of a pity.
After all, he remembered that in the original story, the experience was awful, like being thrown into a flushing toilet. He had no interest in trying that feeling.
Moreover, Apparition carried risks, and Rhine had doubts about whether Hagrid could bring him there in one piece.
By comparison, the Flying Motorcycle Hagrid had ridden over on was far cooler.
Sitting in the sidecar as the motorcycle shot into the sky, Rhine, with his Wind Riding Talent, was not afraid in the slightest. Instead, he spread his arms and welcomed the raging wind rushing toward him.
"Woohoo!"
"This is awesome!"
"Hagrid, can we go faster?"
"Or can you let me have a go?"
Watching Rhine stand steadily in the sidecar, unafraid of the fierce wind as he waved his arms, Hagrid smiled and gave him a thumbs-up.
"Rhine, you've definitely got a talent for Quidditch. But this motorcycle isn't easy to handle. Once you join a Quidditch team, I'll definitely let you give it a try."
"All right, we've arrived at The Leaky Cauldron."
The Flying Motorcycle descended through the clouds, and a shabby pub came into view.
When the motorcycle stopped in the pub's backyard, Rhine reluctantly climbed out of the sidecar.
Once he got to the wizarding world, he had to get himself something that could fly too.
In the Muggle world, he was underage and could not do anything. But in the wizarding world, he could at least get himself a Flying Broomstick. He would not need a driver's license for one of those!
It seemed that the Nimbus 2000 was available this year, and in another two years, the Firebolt, with its fully upgraded performance, would come out.
He had to get them. He had to get them all!
At this moment, Hagrid showed Rhine how to enter Diagon Alley through the brick wall.
With his Seven Orifices Exquisite Heart, Rhine's memory had also been greatly enhanced. He could practically remember anything after seeing it once, so naturally, he memorized it after a single demonstration.
As the bricks were tapped, a passage slowly opened, and bustling Diagon Alley appeared before Rhine.
Even though he had seen it countless times in novels and films, seeing it with his own eyes still left Rhine dazzled.
Hagrid, meanwhile, wore a proud smile.
"This is the wizarding world. You'll have plenty of chances to come here in the future."
"Come on. I'll take you to Gringotts to exchange some money first."
