Ch. 561Disciple

Under Luo Qing’s guidance, Long Ling refined the three Canghai treasures and sent them for Heavenly Dao tempering. A thousand years later, the treasures entered the Eastern Sea, where the Sea-Calming Divine Needle Iron settled into its deepest trench and calmed the turbulent Water Veins.

  • Luo Qing guided Long Ling as she refined the Sea-Adjusting Token to distribute the Canghai Sea’s water-source power.
  • Long Ling refined the Sea-Calming Divine Needle Iron and the Canghai Cloud Sail, completing the three treasure embryos.
  • Luo Qing instructed Long Ling to send all three embryos into the Hua Tian Origin Land for simultaneous Heavenly Dao refinement.
  • After a thousand years, three streaks of Spiritual Light flew from Hua Tian Peak into the Eastern Sea.
  • The Sea-Calming Divine Needle Iron expanded into a massive rod and plunged into the Eastern Sea’s deepest trench, briefly shaking the sea before its Water Veins returned to calm.

Ch. 562The Tainted Sea-Calming Pearls

Luo Qing purified the eighteen Demonic Energy-tainted Sea-Calming Pearls and began nurturing the damaged Chikong Mirrors. By analyzing the extracted Demonic Hong Yun’s origin Demonic Energy, he alarmed Demonic Hong Yun, who abandoned his hiding place, while Luo Qing reproduced the sinister energy himself.

  • Water Spirit Holy Mother realized Saint Huode had restored the Canghai Sea’s balance and watched over the Dragon Race’s Great Thousand World as the foundation of her path to Sainthood.
  • Luo Qing observed the Canghai Three Treasures suppressing the Canghai Sea and recognized their hidden merit and teacher-disciple karma with Long Ling.
  • Luo Qing placed the nine damaged Chikong Mirrors inside a cocoon of Hunyuan Dharma Power to nurture their recovery.
  • Luo Qing extracted the Demonic Energy from the eighteen Sea-Calming Pearls and combined it into a strand of Demonic Hong Yun’s origin energy.
  • Luo Qing used the Eye of the Great Dao to analyze the origin energy, causing Demonic Hong Yun to sense danger and flee his hiding place.
  • Luo Qing finished analyzing the energy and manifested an identical strand of Demonic Energy on his left index finger.

Ch. 563Hidden Yet Unreleased, Observing the World's Five Elements

Luo Qing analyzed his newly created Origin Demonic Energy and decided to wait for a better chance to deal with Demonic Hong Yun. He then examined the Five Elements Great Daos to assess how transforming the Fire Spirit Origin Dao might affect the Primordial World.

  • Luo Qing fused two strands of Origin Demonic Energy and placed the growing strand in the Hua Tian Yin Realm to strengthen it.
  • Demonic Hong Yun moved his hiding place three times before settling down after nothing happened at his earlier refuge.
  • Luo Qing returned the recovered Sea-Calming Pearl to Long Ling and turned to cultivating the Innate Divine Path.
  • Luo Qing connected with the Fire Spirit Origin Dao but delayed transforming it until he could account for its effects on the Primordial World.
  • Luo Qing examined the Five Elements Great Daos and found that the Water Spirit Great Dao had become the weakest after repeated upheavals and the loss of the Celestial River Water.

Ch. 564Reforging the Earth Flowing Water Diagram

Luo Qing considered how to advance the Fire Spirit Origin Great Dao without destabilizing the Five Elements, then decided to travel the Primordial Wilderness with six of his disciples. Before setting out, he reforged Long Ling’s Earth Flowing Water Diagram into a pure Merit Spiritual Treasure, hoping it could help suppress the transformed Fire Great Dao.

  • Luo Qing worried that advancing the already-dominant Fire Spirit Origin Great Dao would throw the Five Elements out of balance, and considered using the Water Great Dao and earth to restrain it.
  • Luo Qing felt the urge to travel through the Primordial Wilderness and invited his disciples to join him; Long Ling, Luo Tian, Luo Yao, Zi Luo, Luo Lian, and Yun Xiao agreed.
  • Luo Qing asked Long Ling for her Earth Flowing Water Diagram, which she had kept after it gained Merit governing the Water Veins of the Hua Tian World.
  • Luo Qing shattered the diagram’s original body in the Hua Tian Origin Ocean and infused its Merit phantom with his own abundant Merit Golden Light.
  • The Earth Flowing Water Diagram became a pure Merit Spiritual Treasure with its original functions intact, and Luo Qing considered that it might advance into a Merit Ultimate Treasure.

Ch. 565A Journey Through the Primordial Wilderness

Luo Qing traveled from Kunlun Mountain toward the Eastern Region with his companions, asking Long Ling to map the Primordial Wilderness’s terrain. After hearing their observations about disputes over blocked land and Water Veins, Long Ling asked whether he intended to reorganize them, a task that would provoke widespread opposition.

  • Luo Qing gave Long Ling the reforged Earth Flowing Water Diagram and instructed her to record the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and land veins.
  • Luo Qing departed Hua Tian Peak with Long Ling, Yun Xiao, Luo Tian, Luo Yao, and the others, and Long Ling used the diagram to map the terrain as they traveled east.
  • After more than a century of travel, Luo Qing asked his companions what they had observed about the land and its inhabitants.
  • Luo Tian and the others described how immortals, gods, and races claimed spiritual mountains, land veins, and Water Veins, creating conflicts and obstructing their flow.
  • Long Ling asked whether Luo Qing planned to reorganize the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and Water Veins, while the others recognized that such a plan would face widespread opposition.

Ch. 566Reshaping the Mountains, Rivers, and Water Veins

Luo Qing continued through the Eastern Region with Hua Tian Peak’s plan to reshape the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and water veins in mind, knowing it would require many allies. As the group witnessed the region’s conflicts, Luo Qing explained how some Quasi-Sages survived the North Sea Tribulation, and he began considering Fortune and Merit treasures as a key to the plan.

  • Luo Qing told Long Ling to prepare to lead the work of reshaping the mountains, rivers, and water veins, then ordered the group to study the terrain and its inhabitants as they traveled east.
  • Luo Qing considered the difficulty of the undertaking and concluded that Hua Tian Peak would need to win over allied forces, since he could not act personally and the other Sages might oppose the plan.
  • The Cloud Chariot entered the Eastern Region, where the group saw frequent fighting amid the power shifts caused by the North Sea Tribulation.
  • Yun Xiao asked whether Quasi-Sages killed by the Demon Ancestor Dragon had truly perished, and Luo Qing explained that the Three Corpses of fifteen had escaped annihilation.
  • Luo Qing said top-grade Fortune or Merit treasures could protect Three Corpses from distant killing techniques, and Luo Lian learned that Quasi-Sages now prized such treasures above others.
  • Luo Qing considered whether Fortune and Merit treasures might help Hua Tian Peak complete its project.

Ch. 567Surveying the Terrain and Waterways

Luo Qing and his companions surveyed the Eastern Region’s mountains, rivers, and Water Veins, finding them divided among powerful forces and difficult to reorganize. They traveled to Buzhou Mountain, where Huang Ting, Kong Xuan, and the others joined them, and Kong Xuan pledged the Heavenly Court’s support for Hua Tian Peak’s plan.

  • Long Ling judged that the Eastern Region’s Water Veins would be especially difficult to reorganize because powerful forces had seized and dammed them.
  • Luo Qing led the Cloud Chariot across the Eastern Region for more than a century while the Earth Flowing Water Diagram recorded its terrain, then traveled west toward Buzhou Mountain.
  • Yun Xiao and the others worried that reorganizing the Primordial Wilderness’s Water Veins would make Hua Tian Peak enemies of its immortals and gods, then marveled at Buzhou Mountain’s grandeur.
  • At Long Ling’s suggestion, Luo Qing summoned Huang Ting, Kong Xuan, Huang Tian, Qiong Xiao, and Bi Xiao to join the party at Buzhou Mountain.
  • Long Ling explained Luo Qing’s plan to Huang Ting and Kong Xuan, and Kong Xuan promised the Heavenly Court would support Hua Tian Peak’s reorganization.

Ch. 568Water Veins Wither, Bringing Calamity

Luo Qing surveyed Buzhou Mountain and ordered Huang Ting to prepare for restoring the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and water veins, then brought Kong Xuan toward the Undying Volcano. As the Cloud Chariot crossed the Northern Domain, they saw a land devastated by withering water veins, desertification, and the decline of the Demon Clan.

  • Luo Qing admired Buzhou Mountain’s restored vitality and told Huang Ting to prepare for the restoration of the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and water veins.
  • Luo Qing sent Qiong Xiao and Bi Xiao back to the Heavenly Court and invited Kong Xuan to accompany him to the Undying Volcano.
  • Luo Qing traveled across the Northern Domain for more than a hundred years, recording the terrain between Buzhou Mountain and the Northern Domain.
  • Long Ling explained that the North Sea’s disappearance had worsened the Northern Domain, where water veins had withered and deserts were spreading.
  • Luo Qing and his companions observed that the Demon Clan had lost its leaders, its members were being hunted, and the region’s decline had become a vicious cycle.
  • Luo Tian reflected on the Demon Clan’s downfall and felt conflicted because he occupied the Solar Star that had once belonged to a Demon Emperor.

Ch. 569The Last Stop

Luo Qing and his disciples surveyed the Northern Domain and discussed how to redraw the Western mountains and Water Veins with the Western Teachings' cooperation. After entering the Southern Domain, Luo Qing agreed to let Long Ling bring Yan Tianyu to meet them.

  • Luo Yao warned Luo Tian not to let the Solar Star Origin influence him, and Luo Tian denied being affected by Di Jun and Tai Yi.
  • Luo Qing acknowledged that demonization in the Northern Domain was severe and told Long Ling to purge demon monsters when she redrew the region's Mountains and Water Veins.
  • Luo Qing asked Long Ling how they could gain the Western Teachings' support, and she proposed using the Water Veins to nourish the severed Western Earth Vein Ancestral Root.
  • Luo Qing approved Long Ling's proposal to cooperate with the Western Teachings in restoring the Western Earth Vein Ancestral Root.
  • After the Cloud Chariot entered the Southern Domain, Long Ling asked to bring Yan Tianyu to meet Luo Qing and the others, and Luo Qing agreed.

Ch. 570Southern Fire Vein

Yan Tianyu reunited with Luo Qing and continued traveling with the group through the Southern Domain as his Human Emperor path began to take shape. Kong Xuan departed for the Undying Volcano to meet his mother, while Luo Qing revisited the former home of the Five Colors Human Race and then set course for the Endless Volcano.

  • Yan Tianyu greeted Luo Qing, met the younger disciples, and joined the group traveling across the Southern Domain.
  • Luo Qing observed that Yan Tianyu was nearing the Quasi-Sage realm and considered the uncertain future of his Human Emperor path.
  • More than a decade later, Kong Xuan asked Luo Qing for permission to visit the Endless Volcano, and Luo Qing agreed.
  • Kong Xuan reached the Undying Volcano and transformed into a Five-Colored Peacock to descend toward it and seek his mother, Ancestor Huang.
  • Luo Qing revisited the former lands of the Five Colors Human Race and cast five streams of innate Five Elements essence beneath the earth.
  • Luo Qing directed the group to inspect the Endless Volcano before traveling to Kunlun.

Ch. 571Twelve Main Rivers and Water Veins

Luo Qing returned to Hua Tian Peak after securing the Phoenix Clan’s cooperation, then began planning how to connect the Primordial World’s disordered Earth Veins and Water Veins with Long Ling and Huang Ting. They mapped twelve major rivers and water veins, but Long Ling pointed out that the vast land still extended far beyond their reach.

  • Kong Xuan reported that the Phoenix Clan had agreed to help pacify the Endless Volcano and requested a place to settle under Hua Tian Peak’s protection.
  • Luo Qing instructed Long Ling to handle the Phoenix Clan’s request, then returned to Hua Tian Peak with his companions.
  • Luo Qing summoned Huang Ting and showed him a terrain map of the Primordial World, explaining that the Earth Veins and Water Veins needed to be connected and reorganized.
  • Luo Qing, Long Ling, and Huang Ting began planning the new mountain, river, and water-vein system together.
  • The three deduced twelve major rivers and water veins flowing from Buzhou Mountain through the four regions to the Canghai Sea.
  • Long Ling warned that the twelve Main Veins could not gather the Water Veins of the entire vast Primordial World.

Ch. 572Three-Layer Water Vein Barrier

Luo Qing completed a plan for the Primordial Wilderness’s rivers, auxiliary waterways, and nine great lakes, then proposed underground water realms and an Earth Fire Sea to connect and regulate the water veins. Long Ling and Huang Ting considered the plan as Luo Qing outlined how it could balance the transformed Fire Spirit Origin Great Dao.

  • Luo Qing derived a map of the Twelve Main Rivers, 108 Auxiliary Rivers, and 129,600 water-vein convergence points across the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Luo Qing added a vast Inner Sea in the Northern Domain and eight other supermassive lakes, completing the surface water-vein plan.
  • Long Ling warned Luo Qing that the waterways could not all be connected and would be cut off again without supervision.
  • Luo Qing proposed entrusting water-vein oversight to the Heavenly Court’s Water Department and connecting the waterways through shallow and deep underground water realms.
  • Luo Qing added an Earth Fire Sea beneath the water realms to contain the Earth Fire Vein and suppress the transformed Fire Spirit Origin Great Dao.

Ch. 573Prelude

Luo Qing and his disciples finalized a plan to reshape the Primordial Wilderness’s mountains, rivers, and Water Veins, including vast underground waterways and the Primordial Fire Dao Vein. He prepared to recruit allies through the Heavenly Court and begin with work in the Northern Domain, leaving Long Ling and Huang Ting ready to carry out his gradual strategy.

  • Huang Ting warned that excavating underground spaces across the Primordial Wilderness would require many more Earth Deities, while Long Ling said the expanded Water Veins would need additional Water Vein Origin.
  • Luo Qing proposed attracting contributors with merit and treasures, then offered a strand of Primordial Violet Qi as a reward for outstanding service.
  • Luo Qing decided to draw on the Netherworld Water Veins to make up for the land’s shortage of Water Vein power rather than endanger Canghai Sea.
  • Luo Qing, Long Ling, and Huang Ting resolved the remaining problems and completed a preliminary plan for redetermining the mountains, rivers, and Water Veins.
  • Luo Qing told Long Ling and Huang Ting to seek Kong Xuan and Zi Guang’s help and obtain Heavenly Court authorization before recruiting people in Kunlun Mountain for Northern Domain waterworks.
  • Long Ling described the recruitment plan as boiling immortals and deities like frogs, and Luo Qing laughed at her understanding.

Ch. 574Pulling the Jade Void Mountain onto the Chariot of War

Long Ling recruited immortals and gods to redraw the Northern Domain’s mountains and Water Veins, then sought to involve the Chan and Jie Teachings. Guang Chengzi and Daoist Duobao consulted the Three Sages, who joined forces to deduce Hua Tian Peak’s plans, but could only glimpse the matter’s general direction.

  • Long Ling recruited tens of thousands of Kunlun Mountain immortals and gods, including a Quasi-Sage and many Grand Luo Golden Immortals, to excavate the Northern Domain’s rivers.
  • Long Ling invited the Chan and Jie Teachings to join the effort, hoping their participation would publicly align Jade Void Mountain with Hua Tian Peak.
  • Guang Chengzi and Daoist Duobao questioned Hua Tian Peak’s motives and agreed to consult their teachers alongside Xuan Du.
  • Guang Chengzi and Daoist Duobao reported the invitation to Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian, who agreed to investigate together.
  • The Three Sages used their divine abilities to deduce Hua Tian Peak’s plan, but the matter’s scale let them perceive only its vague direction.

Ch. 575Hongjun Awaited His Breakthrough

The Three Sages of Jade Void Mountain agreed to join Hua Tian Peak’s plan to reorder the Northern Domain’s mountains and Water Veins, and Long Ling assembled a vast force to set out for Buzhou Mountain. As Luo Qing watched the expedition depart, Ancestor Hongjun focused on a breakthrough he believed would make him equal to Luo Qing.

  • Laozi, Yuanshi, and Sect Master Tongtian agreed to let the disciples of the Three Teachings join Hua Tian Peak’s plan.
  • Long Ling welcomed the Three Teachings’ support and recruited nearly a million Immortals and Gods from Kunlun Mountain.
  • Huang Tian told Long Ling that Huang Ting had obtained the Heavenly Court’s edict and ordered her to lead the forces to Buzhou Mountain.
  • Luo Qing approved Long Ling’s preparations, and she led the Kunlun Mountain army toward Buzhou Mountain as Dragon Clan forces advanced from the Eastern Sea.
  • Luo Qing hoped Phoenix Perch Mountain and the Western Teachings would join the effort while keeping his true objective secret.
  • Ancestor Hongjun declined to get involved and believed he was close to breaking through to Mid-Sage.

Ch. 576Million Immortals and Gods Gather at Zhou Mountain

Nuwa chose to stay out of Luo Qing’s Northern Domain plan, while Zhunti and Jieyin sent Western Teachings disciples to join it. At Buzhou Mountain, Long Ling gathered a force of more than two million Immortals and Gods and ordered the other leaders to follow Hua Tian Peak’s plan, whose scale stunned them.

  • Nuwa suspected Luo Qing had another purpose and decided to watch events rather than participate in the Northern Domain project.
  • Zhunti urged Jieyin to claim a share of the Merit, and Jieyin sent Jin Peng with Western Teachings disciples to Buzhou Mountain.
  • Luo Qing observed that the Western Saints had joined his plan but that Nuwa and Ancestor Hongjun remained uninvolved.
  • Long Ling arrived at Buzhou Mountain with nearly two million Immortals and Gods, joining the Dragon Race, Western Teachings, and local forces.
  • Long Ling warned the other Quasi-Sages to follow Saint Huode’s plan, and they reluctantly agreed under pressure from her and Huang Ting.
  • Long Ling showed the leaders a map of the Northern Domain’s water veins, and its enormous northern lake made them gasp at the prospect of creating another North Sea.

Ch. 577This Pit Is Too Big to Dig

Long Ling and Huang Ting presented the Quasi-Sages with Saint Huode’s vast Water Vein plan for the Northern Domain, but the four objected to its scale and risks. When Huang Ting refused to let them change it, they accepted the assignment, and Randeng resolved to carry it out under the authority of Hua Tian Peak and Jade Void Mountain.

  • Long Ling explained that the enormous northern lake was meant to replace the North Sea and store the Northern Domain’s Water Veins.
  • The four Quasi-Sages discovered the plan also included two giant lakes, three super rivers, twenty-seven secondary rivers, and more than twenty thousand other waterways.
  • Golden Winged Great Peng and Azure Dragon urged Long Ling to reduce the project, while Randeng and the other Quasi-Sages worried about its workload and the powerful immortals it could offend.
  • Huang Ting declared that Saint Huode’s plan could not be altered and told anyone unwilling to follow it to withdraw.
  • Randeng and the other Quasi-Sages accepted the plan, and Randeng decided to proceed while placing responsibility for any offenses on Hua Tian Peak and Jade Void Mountain.

Ch. 578Yunmeng Three Lakes

Long Ling organized the Northern Domain water-vein project, naming its three lakes Yunmeng Marsh, North Cloud Lake, and North Dream Lake, while Sages and immortals speculated about its purpose. Before excavation began, she ordered a demon purge, and the army advanced toward Gui Xu.

  • Long Ling divided the excavation force into three teams to dig the Super Rivers and planned for all teams to work together on the three Super Lakes.
  • Long Ling named the lakes Yunmeng Marsh, North Cloud Lake, and North Dream Lake and set the project to begin at the northernmost end of the Northern Domain.
  • The Sages learned of the plan, suspected Luo Qing might be targeting Gui Xu, and prepared to monitor the excavation.
  • The water-vein plan spread through the Primordial Wilderness, where immortals and gods debated its scale and mocked or supported the project.
  • Long Ling ordered Huang Ting to lead a south-to-north purge of the Northern Domain’s demons before excavation began.
  • Grand Luo Golden Immortals and Taiyis led the army toward Gui Xu, and the demons faced a devastating assault.

Ch. 579Breaking Ground in the Northern Domain

Long Ling’s forces nearly eliminated the Northern Domain’s Demon Monsters and began excavating Yunmeng Marsh as the first step of the Primordial Mountain and River Water Vein Redefinition Plan. After a century, the marsh took shape, and Long Ling sent three River Excavation Corps to begin digging the Three Super Rivers toward Buzhou Mountain.

  • Long Ling’s teams purged nearly all the Northern Domain’s Demon Monsters, though the demon race also suffered casualties.
  • Long Ling ordered more than two million immortals and gods to begin excavating Yunmeng Marsh under the leadership of Grand Unity Golden Immortals.
  • Luo Tian and the excavation teams, including Huang Ting’s earth-element immortals, relocated the area’s veins and mountains while digging the marsh.
  • After a century of work, Yunmeng Marsh was complete, and Luo Qing saw its region light up on the three-dimensional map as the north’s Fortune rose.
  • Long Ling inspected the marsh and saw its form become real in the Earth Flowing Water Diagram through Merit Golden Light.
  • Long Ling divided the force into three River Excavation Corps, which began digging from Yunmeng Marsh toward Buzhou Mountain along the planned routes.

Ch. 580Resistance

As the Three Super Rivers took shape, immortal gods between the Northern Domain and Buzhou Mountain grew alarmed and began organizing to demand that the rivers bypass their territories. Long Ling dismissed them as no threat and continued the excavation, while the Northern Domain’s water network still needed water-vein power from the Central Primordial Era to restore its environment.

  • As the Three Super Rivers began taking shape, immortal gods north of Buzhou Mountain feared the routes would cross their territories and started forming alliances to negotiate with the excavators.
  • Long Ling learned that the local immortal gods planned to unite and pressure the river-excavation force into changing the routes.
  • Yun Xiao explained that the local gods had little experience dealing with Sage Lineages, and Luo Tian dismissed their strength as insignificant.
  • Long Ling told Yun Xiao, Luo Tian, and Luo Yao to continue connecting the Northern Domain’s water network and deal with the opposition after leaving the region.
  • The three rivers and their auxiliary channels carried water-vein power into Yunmeng Marsh, where it evaporated and returned as rain across the Northern Domain.
  • As North Cloud Lake and North Dream Lake were excavated, conditions in the Northern Domain began to improve, but restoring the environment would require water-vein power from the Central Primordial Era.
