"It seems you're no longer too concerned about the bone-chilling aura in this ancient tomb, Fellow Daoist. That's excellent." The Yin-Yang Clubfoot Freak gave a cackling laugh.
After the three of them reached an agreement, they decided to stay in the ancient tomb for a while. Lu Xiaotian also planned to use this rare opportunity to familiarize himself with the surroundings. With the Yin-Yang Clubfoot Freak and the Green-Eyed Elder—two local guides—there, things would be much more convenient.
Over the next dozen or so days, the yin aura in the ancient tomb fluctuated between strong and weak. On one or two occasions, the Yin-Yang Clubfoot Freak felt that it was acceptable, but the Green-Eyed Elder flatly rejected it. As for their minor disputes, Lu Xiaotian remained noncommittal.
A delicate shout and several hoarse shrieks came from the distance. Lu Xiaotian slowly approached, following the sounds, and saw a woman in a white dress and white veil fiercely battling three Tenth Tier Corpse Kings. Each of the three Tenth Tier Corpse Kings wore splendid azure robes and white-jade flying-tiger crowns. It was clear that they must have held lofty statuses when they were alive.
The white-dressed woman's figure blurred. Despite being surrounded by the three Tenth Tier Corpse Kings, she still advanced and retreated with ease. With a flick of her sleeve and a point of her finger, dense Sword Qi fell like rain, striking the three Corpse Kings—whose bodies were harder than metal and stone—with a constant clanging. Though the three Corpse Kings did not suffer particularly severe injuries, they still let out sharp, bizarre shrieks. Their azure robes were slashed apart, revealing wound after wound beneath, faint spiritual light flickering across them. Clearly, although the bodies of these Corpse Kings were astonishingly tough, they could not recover so easily
