In three days, they had descended at least several thousand miles, yet the cave remained much like its other regions. Platforms of all sizes appeared one after another, covered with various poisonous plants, shade-loving spiritual creatures, and Demonic Beasts that had absorbed enough baleful energy—or even demonic energy.
They occasionally encountered demonic creatures unlike those in the outside world, or even ghosts. And every time they passed through a stretch of territory, they were bound to encounter a powerful demonic creature with formidable demonic arts, sometimes even a gregarious species like the Seven-Star Flying Lice.
However, many of the demonic creatures in the Netherblood Cave, including some that were nearly Devil Race creatures, did not seem particularly intelligent. Creatures like the Golden-Armored Corpse King and the Nethermoon Demon Glare were exceedingly rare.
