Another year had come to an end. We bid farewell to the old year and welcomed the new. Hammer sends everyone his New Year's greetings in advance.
The entire expanse of void was now suffused with golden and silver Buddhist light. Even Lu Xiaotian's true body was touched by it, his hair, eyes, and nose turning gold or silver from time to time, the colors shifting back and forth.
Even Lu Xiaotian's calm eyes had become one gold and one silver, lending him an unusual air of mystery.
The golden light radiating from the Golden-Leaf Buddhist Orchid surrounded by the Demon-Suppressing Tower grew ever more intense. At last, it became a golden fireball. As each Buddhist image modeled after Lu Xiaotian drove its formed seal into the orchid, the process continued.
As time passed, the Buddhist seals infused with the Golden-Leaf Buddhist Orchid's spiritual power began to send power back to the images. More and more seals appeared, gradually linking together into golden pillars of light.
The golden pillars connected the Buddhist images beneath the Demon-Suppressing Tower to the Golden-Leaf Buddhist Orchid at their center, now transformed into a blazing golden sun.
Little by little, a brilliant gold sheen spread across even the surface of the Demon-Suppressing Tower and the sariras hanging in the void.
The spiritual light of the seven sariras and the Demon-Suppressing Tower flowed directly into Lu Xiaotian as well, spreading from his skin into his flesh and then into his marrow. A solemn, ancient silver hue stained every bone in his body.
And as the light from the dissolving Golden-Leaf Buddhist Orchid mingled with his own, flecks of mottled gold appeared within the ancient silver.
In an instant, the Demon-Suppressing Tower lit up from the first level all the way to the fifth.
