"May I ask why King Lu is waiting here for the three of us?"
The jade-faced scholar narrowed his eyes. Lu Xiaotian's behavior was truly strange, giving him a faint sense that trouble was coming. They had already met twice before. "King Lu must be joking. The three of us came to the Eastern Puppet Emperor's Tomb together, so naturally we'll leave together. Does King Lu think he can subdue all three of us by himself?" The jade-faced scholar burst into laughter, as if he had just heard the most amusing thing in the world.
"King Lu, could there be some misunderstanding? Ghost Lord and I believe we still share the bond of having once fought alongside you. We've never offended you in the slightest. We've also left you completely untroubled all along the way."
