The gray-robed old man's vermilion brush flicked repeatedly in his hand. A character for "kill" blazed with firelight that soared ten thousand zhang, like the wrath of a fire god. Yet within that scorching radiance lurked a chilling, murderous edge. Countless flashes of blades and swords could be seen within that single character, containing all the killing intent in the gray-robed old man's heart.
Just as the gray-robed old man was about to kill the several dozen wolf riders before him, a command pennant suddenly drifted over from the distant sky. A golden light burst from it, and a golden wolf's head came pouncing forth, biting and gnashing with the vermilion character for "kill." Countless flashes of blades and swords glittered within the character. The golden wolf's head was hacked until golden light leaked from it, yet it refused to let go, biting relentlessly at the character.
Once the golden wolf's head had been worn away completely, a blood-soaked werewolf with two pennants planted in his back came flying over from the distant sky, neither hurried nor slow. The command pennant that had flown out earlier returned to his back, looking slightly dimmer in color. Clearly, blocking the gray-robed old man's killing character had consumed some of its power.
"I didn't expect you to survive that attack just now." Seeing this heavily wounded, True Immortal-level werewolf, the gray-robed old man—and even Zhao Qifeng and Xu Suqin in the distance—wore looks of surprise.
"Until I've killed all you outsiders who trespassed here, how could I die?" The wounded True Immortal-level werewolf grinned, seemingly unaffected in the slightest by his injuries.
"You weren't my match even at your peak, let alone in your wounded state. Even if a few more juniors came to throw their lives away, they would do
