Though he and Tuo Musheng knew a secret art for cultivating dragon pearls, after seeing the Black Dragon's pearl, they realized their own methods were far removed from the true way of the dragon pearl. At the very least, they couldn't cultivate one to the Black Dragon's level. Even separated from his body, the Black Dragon could still cultivate using nothing but his pearl, and though his strength wasn't equal to its peak, he could still wield roughly eighty percent of it.
"I'm not sure yet. I'll ask Senior Black Dragon. If I obtain the art, I'll pass it on to you both," Lu Xiaotian said. He had originally thought that once a dragon pearl reached a certain level of cultivation, it would manifest on its own. But judging from Ao Guang and Tuo Musheng's situation, that clearly wasn't the case. It seemed he would have to begin cultivating not only the Dragon-Soul Battle Robe, but the way of the dragon pearl as well.
