Just as Jian Tiangang was about to intervene, Lu Xiaotian flashed forward. With a casual wave of his hand, a wash of radiance enveloped Zong Tai, so dense that even the naked eye could not see through it. By the time Jian Tiangang reacted, Zong Tai had vanished completely.
Could this dragon really be so powerful? In the blink of an eye, had Zong Tai—a Dragon-Seeking Envoy of formidable strength—been reduced to nothing, body and soul alike? Yet the technique Lu Xiaotian had just used, though clearly powerful, had not seemed strong enough to do that.

Zong Tai had fallen far too quickly. Jian Tiangang could not help regretting that he had not intervened sooner; if he had, things might not have come to this. Now that he was facing this unknown dragon alone, he had even less chance of winning. Jian Tiangang considered himself no weakling, and somewhat stronger than Zong Tai, but he was nowhere near strong enough to reduce Zong Tai to a state where both body and Primordial Spirit were destroyed in a mere instant.
"You certainly have some impressive skills, fellow dragon," Jian Tiangang said, forcing himself to stay calm when he saw Lu Xiaotian turn his gaze toward him.
"So-so." After dealing with Zong Tai, Lu Xiaotian began pressing toward Jian Tiangang. Zong Tai had not truly been reduced to nothing; Lu Xiaotian had transferred him into the Green Fruit Barrier. As a Dragon-Seeking Envoy, Zong Tai was no weakling among the Heavenly Immortals. Even though Lu Xiaotian had recently broken through and was quite powerful, he could not have defeated Zong Tai so completely in a mere instant. The real reason
