The Sevenstar Guards glanced at Lu Xiaotian in astonishment. The Huayan before them seemed increasingly mysterious. The other Huayan they had encountered before had been powerful, cunning, and vicious, but their way of doing things had been utterly different, completely at odds with them human Celestial Immortals. This Huayan, Lu Xiaotian, was extremely unusual, however. His way of doing things seemed no different from theirs.
If he shed the skin he wore now, the Sevenstar Guards even felt that Lu Xiaotian was a human Celestial Immortal. Perhaps these puppet war figures knew some of Lu Xiaotian's secrets, and the Sevenstar Guards' wariness toward Lu Xiaotian and the ten remaining puppet war figures grew heavier.
However, the Sevenstar Guards did not have much energy to spare on Lu Xiaotian and the puppet war figures. The ubiquitous aura of deathly silence was gnawing at them without pause. "All of us are merely idle pieces. We may play a crucial role, or we may simply be expendable pawns. Even if we know the general direction, when it comes down to specifics, there isn't much difference between that and knowing nothing." The puppet war figure who seemed to be the leader spoke.
"Even if it's only a general direction, at a time like this, you should tell us. Even if we die, at least we'll know why, instead of dying as confused ghosts." Lord Huo Xing
