Deep in the void, Lu Xiaotian stood motionless atop an inconspicuous flying rock. It glided silently through the air.
Ao Tong, Ao Sheng, Yun Zhongshan, and Yun Zhongyi stood watch around him, alert to any dangers that might appear in the void. From time to time, they also glanced in astonishment at the violent, astonishing celestial phenomena unfolding around Lu Xiaotian.
At times, flames surged through the void around Lu Xiaotian; at others, waters poured down like a sea, fierce winds howled, or layer upon layer of mountains rose. A moment later, lightning flashed and thunder roared, while snow and ice swept through flying waterfalls.
The eight phenomena eventually interwove, forming what seemed like an independent little world in this desolate stretch of the void. Lightning flashed and thunder roared; wind and rain battered the land. There were mountains and rivers, and lush green trees.
"His law domain can actually reach this level." Ao Tong and the others made no effort to hide the reverence in their eyes. Although Lu Xiaotian had yet to advance to Golden Immortal, Ao Tong, Ao Sheng, and even many of the immortal generals in Cloud City whom Lu Xiaotian had instructed had no doubt he would make the breakthrough. It was only a matter of time.
The other immortal generals, however, had not gained as deep an understanding as those who had stayed constantly by Lu Xiaotian's side.
During this time, they had followed Lu Xiaotian through one campaign after another. First they destroyed Crocodile Demon Pool, then subdued Rat Cave, then wiped out Wind Ghosts, the Yaoyuan Lion Tribe, and more than a dozen other tribes, large and small. Cloud City's sphere of influence had doubled.
Each time, Lu Xiaotian had personally joined the melee. He had slain nearly a hundred Heavenly Immortal-level
