Several powerful auras then surged from among the Tower-External Pill Spirits. A black bear wearing heavy demonic armor strode toward them, holding a pair of black spiked chain hammers.
On either side of the black bear stood demonic beasts: one was a deer demon clutching a sword with blades of alternating green, red, and blue.
The other was a burly man with one eye blind and a blue cauldron emblem on his forehead.
"Hall Master Linhun!" Zhu Yuqing cried out when he saw the burly man on the left, the cauldron emblem on his forehead.
"Friend Zhu, you know him?" Lu Xiaotian asked.
"He once commanded the Nether Guillotine Army, so he was something of a senior to us. He became a Daluo Golden Immortal long ago, then vanished while fighting demons on the Xuanyong battlefield. I never imagined he'd end up in the Sea Soul Palace, much less like this." Ye Tong answered, his voice heavy with emotion.
While the group hesitated, even more Immortal Army soldiers appeared behind them. At their head was Sword Master Tongyuan, who had pursued them relentlessly all this way.
