The Wicked Arts Corpse had realized long ago that he was no match for the Lotus Avatar and had begun laying out an escape route. After a fierce clash of spells and slaughter, the Lotus Avatar had only managed to destroy his most important corpse body and sever most of his Primordial Spirit.
As for the rest, there had been no time to concern himself with so much. The Lotus Avatar's demands were not high; as long as he could temporarily strip his opponent of the ability to threaten him, that was enough. He did not necessarily have to beat him until both body and spirit were annihilated.
In truth, the Wicked Arts Corpse's strength was extremely formidable, especially his Copper-Armored Corpse Formation. If the Lotus Avatar had relied solely on his own strength to break through it, it absolutely would not have been as simple as it appeared.
The fact that he had managed to sever the old monster's corpse body within the grand formation was largely thanks to the countless shadowy spirits inside the Sacred Soul Sword Stele.
As his comprehension of the Sacred Soul Sword Stele continued to deepen, the sword stele had brought him quite a few surprises. He had eliminated two more formidable opponents, and the remaining few would be much easier to deal with later.
Just as the Lotus Avatar flashed past this thought, a sudden sense of unease swept over him. He saw a hand reach out from the depths of the void where the sword light had just battled the Wicked Arts Corpse.
From the opposing side, a small emerald bottle toppled over. A crystalline, transparent drop of water fell from within and instantly fused with the Wicked Arts Corpse's original corpse body.
"The Tears of Mu Ying! Damn that Jade Phoenix
