"Master, I, Old Sun, came to Fangcun Mountain to learn real skills! When are you going to teach me something genuine?"
His eyes shone, filled with longing for the art of immortality.
Li Shou smiled faintly, brushed his robe sleeve lightly, and said in an unhurried voice, "Dharma cannot be passed on lightly, and the Dao cannot be taught lightly."
"Methods for eternal youth and undying life, for sharing the lifespan of Heaven itself, are even more so."
"Since the two of you have entered my sect, you must first grind away some of that impetuousness."
His gaze swept over Sun Wukong, then landed on Ye Feng.
"For now, live on the mountain through several autumns and winters. Watch the clouds rise and fall, listen to the wind in the pines and the birdsong, do some sweeping and tidying of the courtyard. When the heart is still, the Dao will naturally come."
The moment Sun Wukong heard he had to wait, he immediately wilted a little, but he did not dare object. He could only answer gloomily, "Yes, Master."
