History

Pangu opened heaven and earth to give living beings a place to live. Zhang Hao became the will of the Prehistoric World's Heavenly Dao and awoke near the end of the Dragon-Phoenix Tribulation 1 468. The world later endured the Witch-Demon Calamity, the Investiture of the Gods, and the arrival of numerous transmigrators 446.

More than a thousand yuanhui after the Investiture, Bengtian Daoist's approach prompted a mass evacuation. Zhang Hao prepared a refuge within the Chaos Bead; the Four Great Continents formed part of that new world, with laws limiting manifested power to Great Luo. The original Prehistoric World was left largely empty and covered in defensive formations 328 329 346.

The defenders could not prevent its destruction. Attacks by Bengtian and other Chaos Demon Gods broke its heavens, earth, stars, and laws. Zhang Hao fell silent as the world collapsed; the Time Demon God escaped with a core wisp of its origin. Surviving pieces became worlds and realms, including the Land of Origin, the Earth Immortal Realm, and the Lingxiao Immortal Domain 383 384 446.

Lingbao Tianzun later stabilized a new order of worlds inside the Chaos Bead. Zhou Qing and other cultivators recovered fragments and source materials, while survivors brought the preserved Shanhai Realm into the reconstruction. The restored territory reached roughly one-tenth of the former world's size, then about thirty percent before the Chaos Bead's foundation prevented further expansion 452 453 460 461.

Zhou Qing and the Saints instead opened new worlds in chaos and spread Prehistoric Dao laws through existing ones. Di Hong refined and joined these worlds into a single, greater Prehistoric World encompassing the former chaos. Zhang Hao awoke within its Heavenly Dao core and subsequently entrusted its balance to Hongjun 461 462.

Nature and Laws

• The old Prehistoric World had a complete Heavenly Dao, a profound Earthly Dao, a flourishing Humanity Dao, and three thousand manifested Great Daos. Its completeness made it suitable for proving the Primordial Realm 454.
• The Humanity Dao encompasses the wills, struggles, creations, and civilizations of all living beings, not only humans 354.
• The rebuilt world's myriad realms and civilizations share one Prehistoric foundation. Each of its three thousand Great Daos can lead to the Primordial Realm 461 462.
• In later restarted eras, Great Luo beings stage scripted versions of the world's history. Zhang Hao returns during the 9,763rd restart and learns that its inhabitants use these eras as entertainment 464 465.
