Sun Wukong had already received the news.

He put on his Purple Gold Crown, sat in the tiger-skin chair, and smiled at the cave full of worried Demon Kings and monkey generals.

"Children, there's no need to panic! The Heavenly Court has no Dao. I, Old Sun, was just about to reason things out with them!"

A breath had been pent up in his chest—the breath of proving he was not wrong.

Before long, the sky darkened, and war drums thundered like lightning.

Fifty thousand heavenly soldiers laid down a net of heaven and earth, surrounding Flower Fruit Mountain so tightly that not even water could leak through.

Yang Erlang and Ye Feng led the Six Sages of Meishan, Xiaotian Hound, and a host of divine generals, pressed down their cloud, and arrived before Water Curtain Cave.

"Sun Wukong!"

Yang Erlang's voice rang like metal and stone.

"You interfered with the human path, disrupted order, and violated the Heavenly rules. Why have you not surrendered and followed me back to the Heavenly Court for trial!"

Sun Wukong leaped out of the cave with his cudgel in hand, glaring furiously.

"Don't use the Heavenly rules to crush me. What I, Old Sun, practice is the true Heavenly Dao—taking from excess to make up for deficiency!"

"Look at the mortal world! What have those Heavenly rules and regulations of yours turned it into!"

Ye Feng stepped forward and said urgently, "Monkey Brother! Forcing equality when people's hearts do not follow will only make things worse and worse!"
