Ch. 290The Transmigrator Association

East Prince Gong established the Prehistoric World Transmigrators' Mutual Aid Association at Buzhou Mountain and ordered all transmigrators to register. A small group, including Lin Yan, Jin Huang, Hu Fangyuan, Minghe, and Xiong Tie, arrived and entered the headquarters as East Prince Gong prepared to begin registration.

  • East Prince Gong built the Association headquarters at Buzhou Mountain and used the Heavenly Dao Token to decree that transmigrators must register within one Yuanhui.
  • Taiqing Laozi sent Lin Yan to investigate the Association, while Jieyin and Zhunti encouraged Jin Huang to attend and help others.
  • Transmigrators began heading to Buzhou Mountain, though some stayed away, and East Prince Gong was disappointed by the small turnout.
  • The transmigrator Minghe encountered Xiong Tie outside the headquarters, and they realized they were both connected to the transmigrator-filled Kill List.
  • Lin Yan, Jin Huang, Hu Fangyuan, Minghe, Xiong Tie, and the other arrivals entered the headquarters after East Prince Gong welcomed them.

Ch. 291Nezha, Who Attained the Primordial Realm

East Prince Gong launched the Transmigrator Association and began seeking influential members. In the Western World, newly Primordial Lu Ya was attacked by Nezha, but Ancient Buddha Randeng sealed Nezha and directed Lu Ya to bring him to the Association.

  • East Prince Gong recorded the Transmigrators, explained the Association's work and merit, then dismissed them while planning to recruit respected vice-chairmen.
  • Lu Ya, who had attained the Primordial Realm after receiving guidance from Di Jun, traveled through the Western World to visit Jieyin and Zhunti.
  • Nezha, newly at the Primordial Realm with help from his system, attacked Lu Ya to steal his Solar True Fire essence.
  • Lu Ya fought back with the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife, but Nezha's system-protected lotus throne blocked the strike and the battle began to turn against him.
  • Ancient Buddha Randeng intervened, overpowered Nezha, and sealed him inside a golden sarira.
  • Randeng told Lu Ya to hand Nezha over to the Transmigrator Association, and Lu Ya set out for Buzhou Mountain to find East Prince Gong.

Ch. 292Two Vice Presidents

East Prince Gong recruited Lu Ya as a vice president of the Transmigrator Association, then learned that Dao Ancestor Hongjun would also serve as vice president on Heavenly Dao’s orders. Hongjun urged East Prince Gong to establish rules for the association, leaving him to admit he had not yet considered them.

  • Lu Ya brought the imprisoned transmigrator Nezha to East Prince Gong, who registered him and cast his sarira into Chaos.
  • East Prince Gong persuaded Lu Ya to become vice president by citing his connections and the promise of Heavenly Dao merit.
  • Zhang Hao announced that another vice president would be appointed, and Dao Ancestor Hongjun arrived at the association headquarters.
  • Hongjun agreed to lend his name to the association and monitor the transmigrators while leaving ordinary affairs to East Prince Gong.
  • Hongjun advised East Prince Gong to create rules for the association, and East Prince Gong admitted he had not thought them through.

Ch. 293The Goal of Everyone Attaining the Primordial Realm

Hongjun helped East Prince Gong and Lu Ya establish rules for the Transmigrators of the Prehistoric World Association and entrusted them with the Jade Disc of Creation. After Hongjun departed, the two decided to open the association and charge members merit to study the treasure.

  • Hongjun proposed a rule forbidding members from talking behind his back, with merit deducted as punishment, and Lu Ya proposed banning the unjustified killing or plundering of native inhabitants.
  • Hongjun set helping one another attain the Primordial Realm as the association’s long-term goal, then revealed that he had mastered all Three Thousand Great Daos.
  • Hongjun left the Jade Disc of Creation in the association for members to study according to their contributions, character, and destiny, then vanished from the hall.
  • East Prince Gong and Lu Ya decided to open the association and charge merit for access to the Jade Disc of Creation.
  • East Prince Gong and Lu Ya schemed to enforce Hongjun’s no-gossip rule in ways that could let them collect members’ merit.

Ch. 294Plotting a Way Out

Zhang Hao and Hongjun planned to preserve the Prehistoric World's Daoist tradition in the Chaos Bead in case Chaos Demon Gods destroyed the original world. Zhang Hao then met Di Hong, the other half of his True Spirit, who had arrived beyond the world's barrier.

  • Hongjun told Zhang Hao that East Prince Gong and Lu Ya had helped establish the Transmigrator Association.
  • Zhang Hao showed Hongjun the Chaos Bead, where repeated cycles of destruction and rebirth nurtured a world and its surviving beings.
  • Zhang Hao asked Hongjun to gather the All Saints and others to create a new Prehistoric World inside the Chaos Bead and preserve the world's origins and True Spirits.
  • Hongjun agreed to prepare the seed-preservation plan and let Great Luo beings temper themselves inside the Chaos Bead.
  • Zhang Hao sensed a visitor beyond the World Barrier, left Hongjun to prepare, and went to meet his other half.
  • The visitor told Zhang Hao that his name was Di Hong.

Ch. 295Di Hong

Zhang Hao learned that Di Hong had once planned to restart the Chaos and return to their former home, but chose to let Zhang Hao decide whether to leave the Prehistoric World. Zhang Hao refused for now, accepted Di Hong’s Jade Disc of Creation fragments, and returned with Hongjun to prepare for the Daoist Bengtian and other Chaos Demon Gods.

  • Di Hong revealed that he had dealt with hidden Chaos Demon Gods and had agreed to help the Daoist Bengtian regain his peak in exchange for help restarting the Chaos.
  • Di Hong explained that he had abandoned his plan to become Hongjun and refine the Prehistoric World, then asked Zhang Hao to leave with him and search for their former home.
  • Zhang Hao refused to abandon the Prehistoric World, and Di Hong gave him the remaining Jade Disc of Creation fragments before departing into the Chaos.
  • Zhang Hao returned to Hongjun and gave him the fragments, which began fusing with the Jade Disc of Creation in Buzhou Mountain.
  • Zhang Hao warned Hongjun that the Daoist Bengtian’s recovery and the intentions of other Chaos Demon Gods were unknown, and Hongjun agreed to summon Saints and Primordial experts to prepare.

Ch. 296The Current State of the Prehistoric World

Hongjun gathered the Saints and Primordial Realm experts to prepare for the coming calamity by reopening the Prehistoric World through the Chaos Bead. After Fuxi created and ordered a new world inside it, Zhang Hao returned to the Prehistoric World and guided Li Shou toward the final step in unifying the three teachings.

  • Hongjun explained the coming calamity and the plan to use the Chaos Bead to reopen the Prehistoric World, and Zhang Hao showed the assembled experts the bead's power.
  • Fuxi entered the Chaos Bead, opened a new world with the Eight Trigrams, and shaped its lands, skies, and spiritual energy.
  • Zhang Hao told the Saints and Primordial Realm experts to choose disciples and followers to move into the bead, and they left to prepare them for the tribulation.
  • Zhang Hao surveyed the changed Prehistoric World before finding Li Shou in the Heart Lotus Pure World Diagram near Kunlun Mountain.
  • Zhang Hao asked Li Shou whether he had ever taken the form of a Buddha, and Li Shou understood what was missing from his cultivation and departed with newfound clarity.

Ch. 297The Three Teachings Become One

Li Shou traveled through the West, where encounters with Randeng and Dizang helped him understand compassion and vows as paths to enlightenment. After Jieyin and Zhunti clarified that the Three Teachings were naturally connected, Li Shou perfected his Dao Fruit, meditated for a kalpa, and emerged as Bodhi, the wondrous founder of the West.

  • Li Shou met Randeng and argued that the monk’s acts of helping the suffering made his small vessel a path for saving others.
  • Li Shou urged Dizang to fulfill his vow to empty hell by relieving suffering among all living beings, and Dizang departed for the cycle of reincarnation.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti told Li Shou that Daoist nonaction, Confucian benevolence, and Buddhist compassion were connected, and that he should stop forcing the Three Teachings together.
  • Zhunti gave Li Shou a Bodhi leaf, and Li Shou secluded himself in a Spirit Mountain valley to meditate for a full kalpa.
  • Li Shou emerged amid auspicious signs as Bodhi, embodying the harmony of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism.

Ch. 298The Method of Keeping the True Spirit Unclouded

At Zixiao Palace, the experts considered sending Prehistoric World cultivators into the Chaos Bead to face yuanhui calamities, but worried that they might lose their sense of self. Li Shou offered a method to protect their memories, while Primordial Heavenly Venerate warned that the bead’s limited source might not withstand frequent trials.

  • Fuxi reported that the Chaos Bead’s world had been destroyed at the end of a yuanhui without any of its inhabitants attaining Great Luo.
  • Xuanyuan the Yellow Emperor proposed sending bottlenecked Great Luo cultivators from the Prehistoric World into the bead to seek breakthroughs through its calamities.
  • Jieyin warned that non-Great Luo cultivators might have their True Spirits clouded and lose their original selves, prompting Zhunti to suggest preserving part of their awareness.
  • Li Shou arrived with Hu Fangyuan and presented the Bodhi Tribulation Crossing Scripture, whose Bodhi Heart Seal could restore a cultivator’s core memories after the calamities.
  • Primordial Heavenly Venerate warned that the Chaos Bead’s finite source might be depleted if it repeatedly hosted large numbers of cultivators.

Ch. 299Great Desolation Source, Great Desolation Flower

Primordial Heavenly Venerate created a more stable world inside the Chaos Bead, while Zhang Hao arranged for Transmigrators to fund its growth. The Chaos Bead was linked to the Prehistoric World, and its inhabitants were invited to enter and risk tribulations for a chance to attain Great Luo.

  • Zhang Hao proposed making Transmigrators replenish the Heavenly Dao’s source, with those who broke through to Great Luo and their systems staying in the Prehistoric World to work for him.
  • Primordial Heavenly Venerate used the Pangu Banner to create a broader, more stable world inside the Chaos Bead, complete with opportunities for future arrivals.
  • Zhang Hao offered the Transmigrator Association a share of the source from recruited Transmigrators, and East Prince Gong and Lu Ya began redirecting transmigration channels into the Chaos Bead.
  • Hongjun merged the Chaos Bead into Buzhou Mountain’s earth veins and linked it to the Prehistoric World’s source.
  • Li Shou taught the Bodhi Tribulation Crossing Scripture, and Zhang Hao announced that Prehistoric World beings could enter the Chaos Bead, face tribulations, and return by attaining Great Luo.
  • The announcement stirred the Prehistoric World, as cultivators weighed the risks of entering the Chaos Bead against the chance to overcome their bottlenecks.

Ch. 300Chaos Gave Rise to the Myriad Worlds

Saints and Primordial Realm experts sent disciples and other candidates into the Chaos Bead, where water mirrors revealed the worlds and trials awaiting them. Zhang Hao was satisfied with the Bead’s growing Myriad Worlds, though its worlds would face calamities after one primordial epoch passed in the Prehistoric World.

  • Laozi, Primordial Heavenly Venerate, Tongtian Cult Master, the Two Western Saints, Minghe, Zhenyuanzi, Hong Yun, and the Three Sovereigns sent chosen followers into the Chaos Bead.
  • East Prince Gong watched the Bead’s background data and calculated his commission as Lin Yan, Hu Fangyuan, and Jin Huang entered together.
  • A water mirror showed Lin Yan’s cultivation test ending in his engagement to Miss Nalan being annulled, and Lin Yan vowed to remember the humiliation.
  • Another mirror showed Hu Fangyuan awakening five hundred years in the past, while a third showed Jin Huang losing half his cultivation after his Dao companion invoked their Heavenly Dao Marriage Contract.
  • The Saints watched the strange trials and considered the Transmigrators’ fees worthwhile as Zhang Hao assessed the Chaos Bead’s developing worlds and their future calamities.

Ch. 301Primordial Heavenly Venerate Li Xuan

After several failed epochs in the Chaos Bead, Laozi created a more stable world and guided Li Xuan toward Great Luo through repeated lives and teachings. When Li Xuan’s body was destroyed again, he learned that his Dao remained, and he entered the Chaos Bead once more with a steadier mind.

  • Taishang Laojun’s incarnation taught Li Xuan the Dao De Jing, and Li Xuan reached Taiyi peak before dying in the epoch’s destruction; the other watched cultivators, Lin Yan, Jin Huang, and Hu Fangyuan, also died.
  • Laozi built a more stable world inside the Chaos Bead, and several Primordial Realm beings sent incarnations or fragments of their spirits into it.
  • Li Xuan reincarnated with his memories, found Taishang Laojun’s incarnation, and followed him until he attained Great Luo.
  • Laozi drew Li Xuan’s True Spirit into Eight Sceneries Palace and told him to study the difference between his Dao and that of the Prehistoric World.
  • When the third epoch ended, Li Xuan’s Great Luo body was destroyed, but he realized his Dao remained and returned to the Chaos Bead.

Ch. 302Tieguai Li

Nuwa created a new world and sent Tieguai Li toward the Tianxuan Realm to witness its competing paths of cultivation. There, Ye Ling astonished the Tianxuan Holy Land with his hidden strength and began using the inner sect competition to challenge Lin Yan.

  • Nuwa created a world where myriad races could rise, then took the form of Li Mountain Old Mother and watched from Mount Li.
  • Li Xuan reincarnated as a lame young beggar, refined an iron staff, and took the name Tieguai Li.
  • Li Mountain Old Mother directed Tieguai Li toward the Tianxuan Realm, where Myriad Daos contended.
  • At the Tianxuan Holy Land's inner sect competition, Ye Ling revealed that he had reached the early Golden Core realm, stunning the crowd and drawing Lin Yan's attention.
  • Ye Ling defeated his opponents with ease and regarded Lin Yan as a stepping-stone to the summit.

Ch. 303The Transmigrator in the Chaos Bead

Ye Ling used his system to rise to True Immortal power, but Tieguai Li defeated him, reclaimed the system, and restored its stolen source to the Tianxuan Realm. Tieguai Li then revealed that Lin Yan was Saint Taiqing’s second disciple undergoing a tribulation, leaving Lin Yan stunned.

  • Ye Ling climbed to the peak of the True Immortal Realm and ordered his system to refine the Tianxuan Realm’s source.
  • Tieguai Li confronted Ye Ling, nullified his attack, and pulled the system from his body after the system identified Tieguai Li as a Grand Unity Golden Immortal.
  • Tieguai Li erased Ye Ling’s memories and sent his powerless soul into reincarnation, then refined the system and returned its source to the Tianxuan Realm.
  • Tieguai Li visited Lin Yan and revealed that he was Li Xuan, a nominal disciple of Saint Taiqing, and that Lin Yan was the Saint’s second disciple undergoing a tribulation.
  • Lin Yan struggled to believe Tieguai Li’s explanation as Tieguai Li left him in the mountain forest.

Ch. 304Rebuilding the Heavenly Court

As the Chaos Bead endured another destruction and creation cycle, Tongtian Cult Master forged a deadly new realm and Hao Tian sent Hong Tian to establish a small Heavenly Court within it. Hong Tian chose the reluctant healer Zhang Bairen as his candidate for Jade Emperor, unaware that he was Hao Tian’s incarnation undergoing tribulations.

  • Hu Fangyuan and Tieguai Li survived the fourth tribulation, while several newly ascended Great Luos lost their bodies and Dao Fruits.
  • Tongtian Cult Master created a Killing Realm for the fifth cycle, and Hu Fangyuan and Tieguai Li sealed their memories and cultivation before reincarnating again.
  • Hao Tian ordered Hong Tian to lead Heavenly Court Immortal Gods into the Chaos Bead and restore order there.
  • Hong Tian found Zhang Bairen, a kindhearted but weakly cultivated healer, and invited him to become the new realm’s Jade Emperor.
  • Zhang Bairen refused Hong Tian’s offer and walked away, while Hong Tian vowed to recruit him in a future Yuan Hui.
  • Hao Tian realized that Hong Tian was trying to recruit his incarnation to work for the Heavenly Court and grew angry.

Ch. 305A Naturally Gifted Talent

After Zhang Bairen refused Hong Tian for the sixth time, Han Zhongli discovered a poor scholar in the mortal world of Tang who seemed to carry a trace of Emperor Donghua’s True Spirit. Hong Tian and the others traveled to Tang to investigate, with Hong Tian hoping the scholar might become the Jade Emperor.

  • Hong Tian complained that Zhang Bairen had refused his offer to take the Jade Emperor’s seat six times, while the others avoided volunteering themselves.
  • Han Zhongli arrived and told Tieguai Li he had found an unusually gifted, repeatedly unsuccessful scholar in the Small World of Tang.
  • Han Zhongli revealed that the scholar’s soul bore a trace of innate yang Daoist resonance, and he and Tieguai Li suspected the scholar was Emperor Donghua reincarnated.
  • Tieguai Li agreed to investigate and help the scholar if the suspicion proved true.
  • Hong Tian, Tieguai Li, Han Zhongli, Lin Yan, Hu Fangyuan, and Jin Huang descended toward Tang to find the scholar.

Ch. 306Pure Yang Zi

Han Zhongli used the Ruyi Pillow to show Lü Yan that a life of worldly success and ruin was only a dream, awakening the reincarnated Emperor Donghua to the Dao. Lü Dongbin joined the immortals as Tieguai Li’s junior brother and received the Golden Elixir Great Method before setting out to fulfill his destiny.

  • Han Zhongli met the discouraged Lü Yan at an inn outside Chang'an and offered him the Ruyi Pillow.
  • Lü Yan dreamed of passing the examinations, rising to become prime minister, and losing everything after falling from power.
  • Lü Yan awoke before the millet finished cooking and realized that rank and wealth were fleeting, then asked Han Zhongli to teach him the great path.
  • Han Zhongli revealed his immortal form, and Tieguai Li and the others appeared; Hong Tian suggested making Lü Yan the Jade Emperor, but Tieguai Li dismissed the idea.
  • Tieguai Li accepted Lü Dongbin as his junior brother on their master's behalf and taught him the Golden Elixir Great Method.
  • The immortals departed, and Lü Dongbin later wandered the land helping people and saving lives under the title Chunyangzi.

Ch. 307Release the Laborers

Zhang Hao learned from Ancestor Yang Mei that Daoist Bengtian and his allies were erasing worlds throughout Chaos, and he prepared the Prehistoric World to resist them. He released the imprisoned Transmigrators and systems and sent them to develop its newly expanded lands.

  • Ancestor Yang Mei warned Zhang Hao that Daoist Bengtian and other Chaos Demon Gods were erasing the myriad heavens, and Zhang Hao asked him to seek Wang Shu and slow them down.
  • Yang Mei suggested surrendering if the Prehistoric World could not withstand the threat, but Zhang Hao explained that he would fight to protect Pangu's creation and his home.
  • Zhang Hao went to the Prehistoric World's boundary and told the imprisoned laborers and systems that Bengtian's group planned to erase Chaos.
  • The laborers and systems chose to work for the Prehistoric World, and Zhang Hao released them from their restraints.
  • Zhang Hao assigned the freed Transmigrators and systems to develop the new territories, where they began organizing ley lines, cultivating life, stabilizing regions, and laying foundations for future civilizations.

Ch. 308Sainthood

Zhang Hao freed the former laborers and tasked them with teaching the Hun Yuan Great Dao across the New Great Desolation as the Prehistoric World faced an invasion. He also made Lingbao Tianzun the eighth Heavenly Dao Sage and asked Empress Pingxin to complete the remaining paths of reincarnation, which she promised to address after observing a candidate.

  • Zhang Hao freed Tai Yi, Xuan Qing, Qing Li, Guangchengzi, Zhao Gongming, and the other laborers, then explained that Daoist Bengtian and the Chaos Demon Gods were eroding the myriad heavens.
  • Zhang Hao ordered the former Great Powers to establish dojos in the New Great Desolation and teach the Hun Yuan Great Dao, and they entered a portal to find suitable places.
  • Zhang Hao gave Lingbao Tianzun the Primordial Violet Qi, and Lingbao Tianzun became the eighth Heavenly Dao Sage.
  • Zhang Hao summoned Empress Pingxin and asked her to fill the vacant Lords of the Animal and Hungry Ghost Paths.
  • Empress Pingxin said she had someone in mind but needed to observe and wait for the right opportunity before completing the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

Ch. 309Legends of the Heavenly Court and the Underworld

Empress Pingxin appointed Kunpeng and Dizang Bodhisattva as masters of the Beast Path and Hungry Ghost Path, completing the Six Paths of Reincarnation. Zhang Hao then ordered the Underworld to establish order across the chaotic worlds within the Chaos Bead and planted legends of the Heavenly Court and Underworld there.

  • Empress Pingxin brought Kunpeng from the Northern Sea to the Netherworld and appointed him Beast Path Master, where reincarnation power raised him to the Saint Realm.
  • Empress Pingxin appointed Dizang Bodhisattva master of the Hungry Ghost Path, and he became a Saint after merging with its vortex.
  • Dizang Bodhisattva asked when Emperor Sui Zhou Qing would return, and Pingxin said he would return near the end of immeasurable eons, when the Age of Dharma's End arrived.
  • With both paths established, the Six Paths of Reincarnation became complete, and abundant merit blessed the Netherworld.
  • Zhang Hao ordered Great Emperor Fengdu, Chen Tian, to send Underworld personnel into the Chaos Bead and establish branch offices to organize reincarnation.
  • Zhang Hao altered the worlds' rules so legends of the Heavenly Court and Underworld spread, and their inhabitants began sensing divine scrutiny and the pull of reincarnation.
