Staring directly at that incomparably terrifying Giant Python, the Jianghu Man felt ice spread through his entire body.

With a clang, the longsword on his back left its sheath. A lightning-like cold gleam flashed through the air, Sword Light blooming like flowers as fierce, murderous Sword Momentum swept head-on toward the Demonic Snake and Giant Python like a Sudden Storm!

Without the slightest hesitation, the Jianghu Woman carried the two children and drifted swiftly toward the Outside world.

The two had roamed the Jianghu for many years.

Their hearts understood one another.

A single movement or glance was enough for them to grasp each other's meaning.

Against a true Demonic Beast,

the wounded and enraged Giant Python lunged at him. Its savage mouth gaped open as a foul wind descended upon the Jianghu Man's head, ready to bite down!

"Senior Brother!"

The Jianghu Woman stared blankly.

Her reddened eyes were full of sorrow.

Despair!

Just as the Demonic Python's enormous body reached him, when the Jianghu Man was certain to die,

at that very moment,

who knew when it had begun,

between heaven and earth,

A clear sword cry seemed to ring out, like thunder resounding through the Sword Dao, carrying a supreme and profound charm.

It drowned out every sound beneath the Sudden Storm!

A strange sensation, as though time and space had intertwined, emerged. The torrential rain seemed infinitely drawn out, each raindrop suspended as it slowly fell from the sky!

The snake's body slid apart to either side, falling limply in two halves.

The cut was as smooth as a mirror!

The Jianghu Man stood drenched in snake blood, his eyes blank and his mind completely empty.

Out of the corner of his eye,

he seemed to see, at the end of the path carved by that descending Sword Light, in the middle of the river Several Hundred Zhang away amid the rushing wind and rain,

the figure of a Sword-wielding Youth flash past.

Then he drifted away, vanishing into the vast mist and clouds over the river.

"Senior Brother!"

Before the survivor of that calamity could form any thoughts in his mind, a warm body threw itself against him.

PS:

Let me explain: the onlookers only felt as though time had slowed down. Time had not truly slowed. The Spirit Essence Realm had not yet touched upon the possibility of powers involving time, space, or anything of that sort. It was only the feeling of those around them—the feeling, the feeling!
