As Hermione walked with her arm linked through Lin Yue's along the path in the woods outside the villa, Lin Yue instinctively scanned her surroundings. Her free right hand stayed tense, ready to react to any sudden trouble.

Her gaze swept over the area around the path.

Lin Yue automatically assessed the path. The branches nearby showed signs of having been cut not long ago, just as the villa's owner had said.

He had gone out of his way to clear the path, and there was also a conspicuous amount of snake repellent beside the grass.

Penelope Elder Sister walked at the front, while Harry and Ron brought up the rear. They had instinctively left the safest spot in the middle for Hermione and Lin Yue.

Even though they vaguely understood that Lin Yue was actually the strongest among them.

As they walked slowly through the woods, Lin Yue could barely move because she had eaten too much. She could only shuffle forward one small step at a time.

Hermione held her arm and supported her. Harry, Ron, and Penelope weren't in a hurry either, so they ambled along at an easy pace.

Lin Yue glanced impassively at Penelope Elder Sister, who was deliberately slowing down ahead of them. Then she looked back at Harry and Ron, who could only manage tiny steps, and spoke in a flat voice.

"Hermione, you can go on ahead. I'll follow behind."

She couldn't make trouble for other people just because of herself. Hermione and the others could walk at their usual pace; she would do her best to catch up.

They shouldn't have to accommodate her.
